I have extensive animal experience. I majored in Animal Science at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I have experience with all types of animals from livestock (cows, sheep, pigs and poultry) to marine mammals (sea lions, seals and dolphins) to companion animals (cats, dogs and horses). I worked as a canine welfare/training technician for Guide Dogs for the Blind and took care of over 60 kenneled Guide-Dogs-to-be. This included monitoring play dates, walking, cleaning and administering medications. In addition, I trained behaviors and manners to career changed dogs to make them more adoptable. I also have extensive experience caring for marine mammals through my volunteer/internship work. I worked with the Navy's Marine Mammal Program and as a humane law enforcement officer for the San Diego Humane Society.
