Pet care is a natural, built-in part of my everyday life. I have two very loved cats and two dog-friendly dogs of my own, so caring for animals — feeding, cleaning, playing, supervising, and giving lots of love — is already part of my daily routine. I’m a student with a flexible schedule and spend most of my time at home, which means I’m able to provide frequent attention, playtime, and company throughout the day. Because my two housemates also work from home and are experienced with animals, your pet would never be left alone for long stretches of time. Pet care is not something I "fit in" around a busy schedule — it’s genuinely a core part of how I live day-to-day, and I absolutely love it!

Safety, trust, and a comfortable environment are my top priorities when caring for pets. In my home, I provide a calm, cozy, and pet-friendly environment with plenty of spaces to relax, play, and feel secure. I can easily separate visiting pets into their own quiet area if they prefer privacy or a slower introduction. I closely supervise all interactions to ensure every pet feels safe and respected. I have cat trees, soft beds, window perches, and a peaceful atmosphere where pets can settle in at their own pace. When caring for pets in a client's home, I’m respectful of your space and attentive to maintaining your pet’s normal routines, environment, and boundaries. I always follow any specific instructions you leave regarding feeding, medication, exercise, and preferred activities to make your pet feel as comfortable and secure as possible. I take safety seriously: I double-check that doors, windows, and gates are secure, monitor for any signs of stress or illness, and keep a close eye on behavior changes. I’m gentle, patient, and committed to building trust with each pet, making sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for like one of my own.

Every pet is unique, and I want to make sure I give yours the best care possible. It’s helpful for me to know ahead of time: • Their daily routine (meal times, litter habits, playtime needs) • Any medical needs, medications, or special diets • How they typically react to new people, places, and other animals • Any favorite toys, activities, or comforting routines • Things that might stress them out (for example, loud noises, certain handling) • Whether they prefer a quiet, private space or love social time • Any past experience with boarding or being away from home The more you can share, the better I can make their stay feel safe, easy, and familiar — just like home!
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I tailor each day to what makes them happiest! For playful cats, there’s plenty of time for chasing toys, climbing cat trees, exploring cozy hideouts, or bird-watching from sunny windows. For cuddlier pets, there are soft beds, warm laps, and lots of quiet affection. I rotate through different toys and activities to keep things interesting and make sure every cat feels mentally and physically engaged. I also pay close attention to each pet’s energy level and personality — some prefer short bursts of play and long naps, while others love long games of chase, puzzle toys, or interactive time. Meals, treats, brushing, and any special care needs are spaced naturally through the day to match their routine. Because I’m home most of the time, your pet will have lots of interaction, enrichment, and calm supervision. Whether they want an adventure or a nap buddy, I adjust to their style and make sure every day feels safe, comfortable, and a little bit special.

I've been surrounded by dogs my entire life — my first dog was a beloved member of our family growing up, and I’ve had the joy of caring for dogs of all ages and personalities ever since. Over the years, I’ve gained experience dog-sitting for friends, family, and clients both in their homes and my own, building a strong understanding of how to make dogs feel safe, happy, and loved while their families are away. I have multiple years experience volunteering in animal shelters, walking, and pet sitting and boarding dogs of all different breeds, sizes, energy levels, grooming, and care needs. Today, I share my home with two very dog-friendly cats and two wonderful dogs who grew up around cats and other animals and are very gentle and well-socialized. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all kinds, whether they’re shy and need a quiet space or outgoing and love new friends. I also have experience administering medications and adjusting to the needs of each individual dog. If your dog stays with me, they’ll be cared for in a cozy, calm environment with lots of soft places to relax, big windows for bird-watching, and a safe fenced in backyard for supervised fresh air and playtime. I have tons of dog toys and am more than happy to enrich your pup however they need. I have a flexible schedule as a student and spend most of my time at home, and my two housemates (who are also experienced with animals) work remotely — meaning your dog will have companionship and supervision throughout the day. I’m very patient and gentle with animals, and I focus on making each dog feel truly comfortable, loved, and part of the family. I would love to welcome your pup into our home and care for them as if they were my own!

Jihae always takes such loving care of our pups. I can see the regular walks on the Fi app becausr she let's us plug in the bases at her place. She sends pics every day while we are away as well as little updates on their activities. We are so happy we found her, and our doggos seem to be happy too.
