Animal lover, and a dachshund owner
I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. Back in 2014, I had two ferrets, and they were such a joy—full of energy and personality! Since 2019, I’ve had my long-haired Dachshund, Chestnut, who’s been my constant companion. Taking care of him has taught me a lot about the needs of small dogs, from grooming to keeping up with their energy. I’ve also helped out friends by pet-sitting over the years. I watched a cat for a friend for several months, making sure they were fed, played with, and given plenty of attention. I’ve also dog-sitted, with the longest stay being a full month. I made sure the dog was walked, fed, and felt comfortable and loved while their family was away. I really enjoy spending time with animals, and I know how important it is to make them feel safe and happy. Whether it’s a quick visit or a longer stay, I’ll treat your pet like my own!

Jie was amazing! I have the best dog but she has some definite triggers and reactivity. Jie was proactive in learning how to best help her and then was amazing during our stay with her. She sent lots of photos and updates and the whole time I felt well informed on how things were going. My dog had the best time with Jie and Chestnut. Will be using her again

Schedule
I’m currently working full-time, but my evenings are fairly open, so I have plenty of time after work to care for and spend quality time with your pups. I’m available on weekends and weekdays after 3:30 PM, and I’d love to help make sure your furry friends are happy and well-looked after!

I have a fenced yard, a friendly long-haired dachshund to keep your fur babies company. If needed, I can crate the dog. I also have ramps for easy access to the couch, as well as a gate to keep dogs out of the kitchen and basement.

A typical day
A typical day includes walks, playtime, and plenty of love! We’ll play fetch, explore the neighborhood, or enjoy cuddle time. For extra fun, I use interactive toys and puzzles to keep them engaged. Each pet gets the care and attention they need to feel happy and comfortable while their owners are away.
