I had the chance to spend a wonderful week with Monday while traveling, and it was such a joy to see how well he is cared for. His owner is incredibly attentive and thoughtful in every aspect of her daily routine, from making sure he eats, drinks, and goes potty on a regular schedule to patiently understanding what he needs through his behavior. Monday is given the very best—from high-quality food to clothes and toys—and her training really shows. He knows how to sit, shake paws, and give a high five, and he is always well-behaved, gentle, and friendly with people. He is a happy, confident dog, which is a reflection of the love, patience, and care he receives every day. Spending time with Monday was one of the highlights of my trip, and I couldn’t recommend his owner more highly.

Schedule
I work full-time in tech, which means my weekdays are generally busy. However, I am happy to host weekday boarding for small, independent dogs who are comfortable relaxing nearby while I work. My weekends, on the other hand, are entirely dedicated to dog adventures! Since I spend my weekends hanging out and playing with my own friendly dog, Monday, your pup will get undivided attention, plenty of outdoor time, and a built-in playmate. I live in a cozy, dog-friendly 1-bedroom apartment near SF City Hall. It’s the perfect, secure size to comfortably host up to two dogs at a time, ensuring everyone gets plenty of personal space and one-on-one attention. We also have a wonderful, trusted group of local dog-owner friends nearby for safe, supervised socialization. Safety is my top priority. My home is fully dog-proofed. While my own pup is fully free-roaming, I keep a clean, extra-large crate on hand. If your dog feels more secure sleeping or resting in a crate, I am more than happy to set it up to make them feel right at home.

A typical day
I'll make sure your dog gets at least three walks or potty breaks a day, and one of them will be a 1.5-hour walk to the Jefferson Square dog play area so they can play off-leash happily.
