From feeding and walking to cleaning up and playtime, I follow instructions to a T, ensuring your pet feels comfortable and secure. I also keep clients updated with photos and messages, so you’re always in the loop about how your furry friend is doing!

When I’m watching pets on Rover, every day is a little different, but there’s definitely a fun routine that keeps both me and the animals happy. Morning Adventures I usually start the day with an early morning walk—perfect for getting some fresh air and letting the dog stretch their legs. If they’re the energetic type, we’ll head to a nearby park where they can sniff around, chase squirrels (or at least dream about it), and get some of that zoomie energy out. If they’re more of a “let me sleep in” kind of dog, we’ll take a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood and just enjoy the quiet. Midday Fun After breakfast (and maybe a treat or two), it’s time for a little mental stimulation. I love mixing things up—sometimes we’ll do a fun puzzle to keep their brain sharp, play a game of tug-of-war, or work on some basic training commands if they’re up for it. For cats, I usually break out the laser pointer or feather wand for a little pouncing action. And of course, plenty of belly rubs and ear scratches in between. Afternoon Chill Time Midday is usually for winding down. I let them relax while I get a little work done or read a book, but I’m always nearby for snuggles. If the pet’s more social, they might hang out next to me, sneak in a nap, or just stare at me like I’m the most interesting thing in the world. (Let’s be honest, sometimes I talk to them like they’re people. No judgment.) Evening Play and Wind Down Evenings are for one last round of fun. We might play fetch in the yard, have a short evening walk, or if the weather’s nice, sit outside and just enjoy the breeze. I always make sure they get a little extra love before bedtime—a calming rub, a treat, or a comfy spot to snuggle down. By the end of the day, both of us are usually ready to crash. The best part? Knowing that they had a fun, safe, and loving day. Honestly, it’s hard to tell who enjoys it more—me or the pets! 🐾❤️
