I needed to find a dog walker very last minute and Jiya was very prompt at responding to my request. They also made time in the morning to meet & greet before the appointments, which helped put my mind at ease. One cool thing I noticed right away was that I was able to tell my puppy was significantly happier than he's been after with others I've hired! Jiya definitely seemed to put more personal attention time to play/bond with your pet rather vs. treating it just like a job to complete as I've experienced with others. Would highly recommend Jiya if you're looking for a sitter that cares and takes that bit of extra effort to ensure your puppy is happy while you're away :)

Schedule
As a student-athlete, my schedule varies on a daily basis. Local sitting is ideal, however I am open to further jobs as long as I’m given a fair heads-up in advance. Ideally, I will accept week- long offers, especially during peak breaks (Christmas, Easter, summer.

At home, I have an acre of land that my dogs run around in as well as a pedestrian-friendly neighborhood with over 70 residing dogs. Additional services that are not including in my set fees include: home-baths, driving to appointments (groomers/vets), and pickup or drop off.
Pets
A typical day
Mornings cuddles are a must during overnights. I ensure to take the pups out to first thing for a bathroom break. After that, we get geared up and go for a pre-breakfast walk (according to feeding preferences). Chilling in the house will take us until roughly noon when it’s time for another walk. For the remainder of the day, we might go run some errands where the pups help out by sitting in the car, awaiting their pup-cup or doggy ice cream. After dinner we take a final walk before more snuggles and some paw-tential for TV watching. Either crates or beds are made by the time the dogs are tuckered out. The next day just calls for a repeat with some new activities such as hikes, dog park visits, and baths.
