If a pet stays in my home, I usually keep my daily activities in the living area so I can stay aware of their behavior and comfort throughout the day. I enjoy gentle playtime using appropriate toys, offering treats in moderation, and doing light, positive interactions such as basic cues like sit or paw when the pet is comfortable. I also make sure pets get regular breaks, rest time, and short outdoor walks as needed to check in on their energy level and bathroom routine. My focus is always on keeping them calm, safe, and well-observed rather than overstimulated.
