Pet care experience

Young professional who loves pets!

I’ve had two medium-sized dogs (around 18kg) since I was a kid. Guinness, my last girl, needed a lot of care as she got older: daily oral and topical medication, so I’ve grown to be patient and very familiar with must-follow daily routines.

Jia Qing loves animals and cares a lot about giving pets the care and affection they need. He was the main caregiver for the family dog for a number of years and he was her favourite person!

Jia Qing is a great pet owner, who cares deeply and loves dogs. He takes really good care of his dogs and enjoys playing with them all the time! Would definitely recommend

Safety, trust & environment

I live in a 2 bedroom flat with an enormous living room and a large balcony with plenty of space for a dog to settle. The private garden doesn't allow pets, but I’m close to Battersea Park and there are green spaces within a 2 minute walk from my flat where families often hangout and people socialise/play with their dogs. Happy to take yours somewhere lively if they enjoy other dogs, or stick to calmer routes if that suits them better. Your dog is welcome anywhere within my flat though I keep the bedroom dog-free when it’s time to sleep.

A typical day

We can head out for long walks most days (about an hour) in Battersea Park or Vauxhall Park, plus a few shorter ones around the neighbourhood, which is a nice residential area with green space and other families with dogs. The rest of the day is play and rest: zoomies in the living room, large balcony for sun and fresh air, and plenty of sofa time for dogs who'd rather nap.

The more you tell me, the faster your dog settles in. Anything you can share on the following would be really helpful: • Feeding • Walks • Sleeping • Other dogs and people • Toys, treats and comforts • Health • Quirks and triggers No detail is too small. Mention anything that you think would help them acclimate.
