Started Rover since 2026. I have had dogs since I was a child and caring for them has always been a big part of my life. I am a working professional, and I’m also married to a professional dog groomer. I married her because I love her, of course — but it’s also wonderful that we share the same passion for dogs and can provide the best care for them together. My wife truly loves her work and is one of the most trusted groomers in Fairfax, Virginia. Many of her clients absolutely adore her and continue to return because of the care and attention she gives to every dog. We have a very cute little Toy Goldendoodle girl of our own, and whenever we have free time, we enjoy socializing her with other friendly dogs. That’s one of the reasons we decided to join Rover — we genuinely love spending time with dogs and creating a safe, happy environment for them. Your dog will be treated like family in our home. 🐾 Extended stays may incur higher rates because pets are bathed often before being allowed on our beds. We bathe and lightly groom our furry loved ones, including nail trims as needed, and these are included in the price for extended stays.

Ji Ung & Hyunjoo did an amazing job caring for our Bichon! She was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for during her stay. We loved receiving updates and really appreciated the excellent communication they maintained with us throughout. It's never easy leaving your furry family member with someone else, especially for several days, but Ji and Hyunjoo gave us complete peace of mind. My family was very happh with Ji Ung and Hyunjoo taking care of our dog Toast :) They were very nice from the moment we met them and we werr able to explain both on the website as well as inperson any comments or extra details about what Toast might need. They would even send us a couple of videos here and there of him eating or playing which reassured us how well he was taken care of. Thank you both again for taking care of him so well!

Schedule
Pet care fits very naturally into our daily routine. I work a structured professional schedule, which allows me to plan pet care consistently and responsibly. My wife is a professional dog groomer, so caring for dogs is truly part of our everyday life. We are home all day on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Due to our alternating schedules, one of us is also home on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday except for a few hours, and we make time every day for walks, playtime, and attention. Your dog will never feel ignored. We treat every dog like part of our family and ensure they receive supervision, affection, and proper care throughout their stay.

We provide a safe, structured, and loving home environment where dogs receive constant supervision and personal attention. We limit the number of dogs we care for at one time to ensure quality care and safety. Our home is clean, secure, and pet-friendly with a fenced yard. We carefully manage introductions and monitor all interactions. With my wife’s professional grooming experience, we are skilled at understanding canine behavior and maintaining a calm, balanced environment.

A typical day
Daily routine includes supervised playtime, walks, and mental stimulation to keep pets happy and active. We also provide plenty of rest and individualized attention based on each dog’s needs. Fun activities like fetch and interactive toys help them stay engaged, while a calm environment ensures they feel safe and comfortable throughout the day.
