Home full-time, attentive, loving
I am very attentive and track your pets (dog or cat) through DogLog (an app) and share details of your fur babies activities with me (walks/pees/medications/playtime you name it). Overall I am a great listener and will follow whatever protocols you take with your dog, if they are in heat or if they like to cuddle or not I'm here for the both of you! Whatever the case may be I am willing to adapt to them and their personalities/lifestyle. I know that dogs are apart of our family and I will treat your best friend as such. I have had dogs of all kinds in my life growing up and have house sat before with dogs cats and even chickens! I am aware of my surroundings at all times to ensure their safety and love to play with dogs. I do love a pre-meet to get to know you both as well!

It was my first time ever having a sitter for my doggy and jewelene made the experience so easy and made me feel confident in my baby being safe and well taken care of. She did an amazing job and although my dog can be very anxious she did great with her. Would definitely recommend!
As a dog sitter on rover, I am very careful and picky over which sitter watches my pups. Jewelene is an amazing sitter, she even has experience dealing with emergencies, as my senior dog had to be rushed to the vet while I was away. I am forever grateful for the care and attention she put into caring for my dogs.

When caring for pets, whether in my own home or a client’s, I prioritize their safety by being vigilant on walks, getting to know them before my care begins with a pre-meet to make sure I build rapport with your fur or furless babies. Building trust involves maintaining their routine, communicating regularly with pet owners, and respecting their boundaries. All animals are different and I acclimate to their needs.

A typical day caring for pets includes feeding, a bathroom break, and a check on their general well-being. For fun activities, I'll take them on a walk or play in the yard, engaging them with their favorite toys or games. Depending on the pet, this might include fetch, interactive puzzle toys, or agility exercises (if they're into that). In the evening, I ensure they have a relaxing time with cuddles or quiet play, wrapping up with another bathroom break and preparing them for a restful night.
