I follow instructions carefully and can handle more complex situations including special needs pets. I do my best to stick to their usual routine as much as possible. I treat both your pets and your home with the same care and respect I’d want for my own. I genuinely enjoy connecting with animals, and even the most hesitant ones tend to warm up to me pretty quickly.

Jewel is the best! She was so patient with my two dogs, both of whom are very nervous / flighty with new people. My boy shuts down the most and just wants to hide so he’s never let a sitter walk him which limits him to the yard anytime I’m gone. Jewel has such calm and grounded energy and she earned his trust and got him out walking on her first stay. Such a relief, as Kanoa lives for his walks. Communication was great - I got daily updates and photos for both dogs. My home was also immaculate upon return.

Jewel was great with my senior pup, Missy! She even found some creative ways to get her to eat, which I’m still doing because it worked so well. Jewel truly cared and I can’t recommend her enough! I was so nervous to leave Missy behind with someone other than family, but she was great and provided updates while I was away.
It was great working with Jewel! Professional, communicative and thoughtful in her approach with our pups. Would absolutely recommend.

Schedule
I recently transitioned out of my full-time Research Associate role to focus on my Nurse Practitioner program full-time, which began in June. For the spring semester, my schedule varies a bit due to clinical rotations. Some weekdays I'm away for 8-hour hospital shifts, while other weekdays are typically shorter. I'm generally open on weekends. I’m happy to work with you to the best of my ability to make sure your pets are well cared for and comfortable while you’re away.
