I work at Willow Tree Kennel in Durango and have learned a lot about dog body language and social interactions. We focus primarily on accommodating to each individual dog’s needs and I would do the same for your dog that you entrust in my care. I have great attention to detail and have a good eye for anything that might be out of the ordinary for dog health. I actively research and gain more knowledge on dog interactions and am accustomed to working with reactive dogs or bite risks that take more time and going slower. I am comfortable working with puppies, antisocial dogs, reactive dogs, and dogs that require a slower movement due to bite risk. Additionally, I’m working to become a dog trainer someday and am researching for that as well so your doggie and I can have a fun interactive relationship! My goal is to help fix any issues you may have while walking your dog and also make sure your dog is comfortable with me and their interactions on their walk! A side note is that I have had my own dog and trained her various tricks for fun :) I also have experience in horse care with abused horses and am overall comfortable with all animals and behaviors within reason!
