I currently work twice a week 10 hours day, the best days for me to help out would be Wednesday-Sunday. I sometimes work shorter days on Saturdays and could stop by after to feed/walk/exercise your pet. I love getting outside and love having doggy company to join me! I'm willing to stop by twice a day to feed/clean for kitties. And I can always hang out with your dog (or dogs) for the day if you just need someone to keep them company while you are busy!

I practice "fear free handling" meaning I always take the gentlest approach to any situation. An example would be if your pet needs to be crated but doesn't enjoy it, I use treats and always leave enough time to slowly work them into it. If I am ever leaving the house for an hour or two I make sure your pets are set up! Freshly pottied, not hungry/thirsty, access to toys and treats (if allowed) and with jazz music for them! I know every pet is different and has their own special quirks and I am more than willing to accomodate for them. I am very careful and responsible with other peoples pets and property.

It is helpful for me to know your pets temperament for new people, whether they are shy/avoidant/playful. Along with their general reaction to being on leash and near other pets. I am comfortable with any temperament just like to know beforehand! Also let me know if there are any allergies to treats or things I should look out for mobility wise.
A typical day
I love getting dogs outside and letting them sniff around on walks, long or short. Playing mental stimulating games for the older pups or kittys, like treat mats or sit to stands. If your pet loves playing catch I am more than up for that!

I've cared for all kinds of animals since I was young for friends, family and neighbors. Trusting me to walk, feed and even bathe their pets. I'm a vet assistant with hands-on experience in small animals, but have experience with farm animals to! I am confident handling pets of all sizes, temperaments and needs, and always prioritize their safety and comfort.

Jessy is an exceptional house sitter. She's taken care of my animals —two dogs and two cats —several times over the past couple of years, and I've never had any complaints. She does a great job following the rules and routines I've listed in a note, and she makes sure to contact me when any questions come up. My animals are always very happy to see her arrive and seem very well taken care of when I arrive home. I always come home to a clean house when Jessy housesits. She's very respectful of our space, and it is easy to see the care and consideration she has for our home and animals.
