I am a stay-at-home parent right now, which means I am home most of the day. I will be starting college part-time in August, but for the most time I am able to dedicate myself to caring for the pet.

The way I view animals is as living beings, which should be treated with respect and love. I don't see them as material possessions, and therefore your pet will be treated with total freedom inside my house. I don't mind animals in the furniture or on top of my bed, I don't mind fur inside the house, and my little one, which is almost two now, absolutely loves all animals as well. Obviously we have our child to protect as well, so it goes without saying that pets that are staying at our place should be friendly towards children. He doesn't pull on their ears or tail like some children tend to do, so that isn't a concern.

Please do let me know about any particular traits from your pet. Although I can not work with dogs that present dominant behaviour right now, such as being aggressive with food or toys, since I have a small child, I am more than happy to help with potty training, leash training, and simple commands such as sit, lie down, roll. All training that I do with a dog is based on positive reinforcement only.

I love taking the dogs on walks, specially on the Pollok Country Park, which has a lot of more 'wild' trails. I also love going up to the Loch Lomond area, which has some great trails around it.

I had a pet (poodle) whom I cared for 13 years until he passed. I then went on to raise a American Staffordshire, who lived together with my 4 rescue cats and another rescue dog. I worked for a NGO back in Brazil (my home country) which helped stray animals, and had several foster pets at my home at different times, so I've got plenty of experience handling all types of dogs/cats personalities/sizes/needs.
