I am fortunate to be able to work from home about 90% of the time. I go into the office, which is about 14 minutes away, occasionally as I deem necessary or if I have a meeting. Having a dog(s) to care for would certainly get me off my butt more and away from the computer screen.

We have a fully fenced back yard, and in the home, I have room for a dog's bed in my office and can move that around anywhere.... Making your pet feel at home and safe is the most important thing, in my opinion, as well, I want to be sure your mind (and heart) is at ease when you have to leave them.

Always good if you can tell me their likes and dislikes. Are they a cuddling dog....or do they like to be left alone? Do they like to sleep on the bed....or on their special cushion or in a crate? Any special dietary needs or medication? Every pet is different so whatever info you can share will be helpful.
A typical day
Lots of playtime indoors as well as out. Bring your own 'fetch' toys or I have a basket still from my dog who passed away. We have so many parks and paths to explore that I would get your dog out for walks and runs to burn off energy, as I love to go for walks, even when I don't have dog.

We are a dog loving family and I had 3 dogs back home in Ontario that I trained and nurtured from the puppy stage. I have loved dogs my whole life and have lots of time and love to give to other ones, especially since I work from home about 90% of the time. We just had to say goodbye to our 10 year old dog back in Dec. 2019, and since then, we all have a large Rocco sized hole in our hearts and love it when our friends come over and bring their 'fur' babies with them. We have a large home with a fenced backyard and we reside on the edge of Fish Creek park where there are tons of paths and places to explore that any dog would surely love!!
