I've lived with dogs since I was born, and frequently tasked with their care (with which I happily obliged). Often friends, family and neighbors will ask me to watch over their pets (dogs, cats, chickens, guineapigs etc) because they know I am organized, caring and truly enjoy spending time with animals. In Taos, I have looked after dogs both long and short term, in my house and the homes of others. If you have an energetic pet, I love company on long runs, hikes and adventures. If your pet is more of a homebody and/or old soul - I also have a love of staying in with a good book.

Safety, trust & environment
I live on the south side of Taos. We have a great fenced in yard and lots of trails and accessible walks near by. I like to let pets get to know me without any pressure - but I love to play when they are open to it.

Jessie was informative throughout her visits, sent pictures, and updates. She did a wonderful job taking care of our cat. Would definitely use her as a pet sitter again and again.
Jessie was so flexible and accommodating watching our dog, she sent lots of pictures and he had an amazing time!!

Jessie is a wonderful pet sitter. She stayed at our house with our dog for three nights. We returned from vacation to find a very happy and tired dog. ❤️ appreciated the regular check-ins and pictures of Pinto having fun.
Jessie was more than we could have asked for! Very kind and relaxed. I think our little fur baby had a wonderful day with her new friend, Jessie! I would highly recommend her and will definitely use her services again when we are in Taos.
Jessie did an amazing job looking after River while I skied at Taos. River was at home with Jessie at a local art gallery and would have been happy to stay with her longer I’m sure. Highly recommend her!

Schedule
I work on a hybrid schedule (at home and in the office) in Taos. Pretty flexible to meet your needs! I look forward to hanging out with animals and will prioritize their care. Happy to wake up early.

- Please let me know if your animal has any issues with other dogs/cats/animals, their barking habits, or if they get anxious with certain situations so that I am aware of their triggers and thus able to mitigate exposure.
