I've lived with dogs since I was born, and frequently tasked with their care (with which I happily obliged). Often friends, family and neighbors will ask me to watch over their pets (dogs, cats, chickens, guineapigs etc) because they know I am organized, caring and truly enjoy spending time with animals. In Taos, I have looked after dogs both long and short term, in my house and the homes of others. If you have an energetic pet, I love company on long runs, hikes and adventures. If your pet is more of a homebody and/or old soul - I also have a love of staying in with a good book.

Jessie was informative throughout her visits, sent pictures, and updates. She did a wonderful job taking care of our cat. Would definitely use her as a pet sitter again and again.
Jessie was so flexible and accommodating watching our dog, she sent lots of pictures and he had an amazing time!!

Jessie did an amazing job looking after River while I skied at Taos. River was at home with Jessie at a local art gallery and would have been happy to stay with her longer I’m sure. Highly recommend her!

Schedule
I work on a hybrid schedule (at home and in the office) in Taos. During the week any pets that stay with me will be quaranteed walks during the day and plenty of play time in the yard. Weekends are easier for long hikes and river adventures.

Safety, trust & environment
I rent with my partner on the south side of Taos. We have a great fenced in yard and lots of trails and accessible walks near by. We dont live with any animals, but our neighbors have a dog. Please let me know if your pet has any issues with other animals and how you typically navigate their preferences.
A typical day
I like to make sure dogs and pets feel accompanied, stimulated and cared for, and realize that can look vastly different depending on the animal. I work with pets and their owners to ensure their needs are met, even if I have work during the day.
