I recently graduated with a PhD from George Mason University, so I'm highly organized and detail-oriented. I love animals of all shapes and sizes, and pet sitting provides much-needed joy and balance to my sedentary work at a computer. I work remotely with flexible hours, so I am able to accommodate specific feeding times, frequent check-ins, and potty breaks. As a proud cat owner, I'm very observant and knowledgeable about cat behavior and body language. I provide calm and gentle care that helps even the most timid cats feel secure and safe in their own space. I am skilled with trimming nails and brushing, and am happy to provide those services upon request, depending on your cat's tolerance. I also have several years of experience managing overnight house sits and walking dogs of all sizes and temperaments, including Greyhounds, Pit Bulls, and Australian Shepherds. I am able to care for and manage a wide range of dog energy levels. Whether your dog is high-energy and needs a brisk walk or is an elderly senior who requires a slow, gentle pace and careful supervision, I’ve got them covered.

Home visits and overnights: I double-check that all doors are securely locked after every visit, bring in mail, and ensure your home was well-maintained during my stay. Leash Safety & Walking: On walks, safety is non-negotiable. I use a secure grip, stay highly observant of our surroundings, and never allow interaction with unknown dogs or people on the street unless you give me permission. Whether handling a strong, high-energy breed, or a sensitive, anxious dog, I maintain total focus and connection with your dog. Cat Care: For drop-ins, I make sure to provide for all your cat's needs including changing water, feeding, scooping litter, and playtime, grooming, and cuddles as requested. I also take time to read your cat's body language—if they want play and interaction, I'm fully present; if they prefer a calm presence from a distance, I respect their boundaries. I'm experienced with brushing and cleaning ears, so I am happy to offer that upon request, depending on your cat's temperament and needs. Updates: You will receive detailed updates and photos during every visit and at regular intervals during overnight stays.

Jessie was absolutely incredible, stopping in every day for a week to play with and take care of our two cats! She gave thoughtful updates and lots of pictures, which we really appreciated. Her communication was great and you can tell she’s very detailed oriented. She even let us know our smoke alarm battery was dying and we were able to contact maintenance to get it fixed while we were away. I highly recommend booking her for a reliable sitter!!
Jessie did a great job checking up on Nero. We just returned to the office and he’s getting used to a new schedule and a new climate. She remembered his quirks and was very attuned to his needs and moods. I felt really confident he was in good hands! I would absolutely hire Jessie again in the future :)
Jessie was an outstanding dog and house sitter! She followed our care instructions to a T and sent daily updates with photos. If she had a question about the dogs' care or behavior, she reached out to confirm she was doing the right thing. We enjoyed our time away knowing our dogs were safe and loved with Jessie. Jessie was super attentive to my cat, making sure to ask questions in the meet and greet and understand every detail to best care for my cat. She is great at communicating and did a phenomenal job at taking pics and sending comprehensive updates while I was away for 2 weeks - rest assured your pet is in good hands with Jessie.

Schedule
I'm currently working a fully remote, part-time job so my schedule is very flexible. I am able to offer drop-in visits any day of the week, any time of day between 8am and 8pm. I offer overnight visits for up to 3 consecutive nights.
