Hello everyone! My name is Jessica and I am here to provide services for you and your furbabies. Before I go over how I would love to help, I want to give you a little bit of information about me so you can have a better understanding of my home life. I have had dogs and cats my entire life. As a little girl, animals were my favorite things, and the same remains true to this very day. I have had time dealing with puppies, all the way to senior pups, and from the tiniest little Chihuahua to the enormous Great Dane. I am more than happy to be in the company of any aged dog, as well as any size. I also love being in the company of cats-and I also have 2 of my own., Piper and Willow. I also have a dog named Jessica (how ironic, right?) that we got from the animal shelter about a year ago. She is a little shy, but very smart and loves her treats! For the past 6 years, I have been working in the veterinary field (hence the title of my page) and have done everything from helping with the general preventative care such as vaccines and prevention, to animals who are very sick, to caring for pets in their puppy-hood and in their senior years. If you have a young puppy that is still learning the ropes of becoming the best dog they can be, I would be very comfortable and more than happy to assist and care for your puppy so you can have your time to do whatever you need, or just have a vacation! Likewise, I am very understanding of the older dogs and would be willing and able to care for them, whether it involve medications injections, even administering fluids if that is what you are doing with them. I feel like keeping everything as normal as possible while you are away helps to keep them from stressing about you not being with them. I have special techniques to implement for those that may tend to lose their appetite from stress. In addition to all of the medical capabilities I would be willing to offer, I would also like to put out there that bathing/grooming services would also be given if needed. Obviously bathing (and ear cleaning/anal gland expression, nail trims if needed) would be quite basic, however grooming can be a little more complicated. Sani-trims are about the best I could offer, although I can do a lion-cut on a cut on a cat so we can go over that on a case by case basis . I have a lot of interest in animal behavior and would enjoy discussing any behavior problems as well. I look forward to being able to get to know you and your babies, and cannot wait to hear from you!
