I work from home and and have a flexible schedule. I have a few regular clients I do drop-ins for in the mornings and evenings, and the rest of the time I’m at home playing, training, and enjoying the backyard with my furry family.

Safety is my top priority, but I also strive to provide an enjoyable and stress-free experience for your pet. I love connecting on an emotional level to animals through play, pets, and snuggling, making sure to read their body language closely and always respecting their boundaries. When your pet stays with me, they can expect a fun and relaxing experience tailored to their physical, social and emotional needs. Most dogs choose to hang out with my dog and I in the main living areas, but those who prefer a safe, quiet, private area with blankets, water, and a crate will have that available to them. Meals will be served exactly according to your specifications, and in general I will do my best to minimize any changes to your pet's normal routine and environment. I'm also experienced in house sitting, and I’m happy to do tasks such as moving garbage bins, taking in mail and newspapers, and more.

IMPORTANT: Please provide proof of updated vaccinations before your pet’s stay begins. Let me know of any special needs, especially dietary and medical, and any triggers that I need to look out for (eg dog reactivity). It’s also nice to know what foods and treats they like, and how they like to be petted and spoken to. Please be sure to provide the following information: - feeding/walk/potty schedule - allergies and/or food restrictions - emergency and vet contact info Finally, please try to ensure your pet is relatively stink-free before dropping them off. A typical day
It’s important to me that your pets actively enjoy their time as my guest. I love engaging them in play, trying mind-stimulating games and puzzles, and taking walks in the parks and neighborhoods of Concord and Walnut Creek. Most of all, I love giving scritches and cuddles!

Cat care experience
I have almost 5 years of experience as a professional cat sitter, mainly doing drop-in visits at clients’ homes. Multiple cat parents have dubbed me a cat whisperer and told me their grumpy kitty never opened up to a sitter before me. It’s an honor! But really, all it takes is patience and respect for the cat’s space. Most kitties just want to know they’re safe with you, and that’s all it takes to get them to warm up.

Our first time using using rover and Jessica answered all our questions and put us at ease. From the minute they met her they both felt very comfortable. She provided pictures and updates pretty frequently which put us at ease. Will definitely recommend for anyone looking for dog care in the area!
Jessica was great. She came on time, fed kitty, gave him his meds and was very sweet and loving to him. There was a little misunderstanding regarding the food I'd leave very detailed instructions. I would definitely use her again.
Jessica is great. Charlie is an anxious boy with separation anxiety. Her calm, patient, considerate demeanor is a gift for our boy.
I really can’t say enough about how wonderful Jessica was with our two big dogs! The pups seemed so happy and upbeat when we picked them up. Thank you for taking such great care of our fur babies, Jessica - and thanks for all the adorable pics, videos and updates too! We look forward to next time!
