Safety, trust & environment

I only board at my house, and the pups are always top priority! They are welcome to play constantly throughout the day (in both the house and backyard) or sleep endlessly! Really, it's whatever their personal preference is. I often do long walks, hikes, and beach visits with dogs that thrive in those situations, BUT we can also be lazy couch potatoes if that's their prerogative

Information Jessica W. would like to know about your pet

It's important to know that my dog is scared of larger dogs, so I usually only take in animals under 25-ish pounds. Open to discuss this more in-depth! If any dogs are over 25 pounds, I require scheduling a meet and greet prior, so we can properly introduce them to each other! This gives me the opportunity to make sure my little one is comfortable, prior to any boarding commitments. Thanks for understanding!

A typical day

Lots of playtime at home in the backyard! Neighborhood walks, beach visits, weekend hiking trails, and errand running! If dogs have separation anxiety or issues being home alone, I will usually take them with me to run errands or days that I'm in the office.

Pet care experience

Hi Friends! I'm new to Rover, but a veteran when it comes to caring for animals. By day, I work in film and television, which means constant communication with lots of people. To balance out my social battery and restore emotional equilibrium, I’ve built a life surrounded by animals. I live with Ori, my rescue dog and full-time soul mate. She’s joy incarnate and the real boss of the house. Beyond Ori, I’ve spent years volunteering with local dog rescues across Los Angeles. My home has been a soft landing spot for dozens of foster animals, many of whom came from some rough starts. My home is their home, a peaceful place where animals can decompress, feel safe, be spoiled, and learn to trust again. There’s bougie homemade dog food, abnormally soft sheets, and more love than they know what to do with. Eventually, they find their forever families. It’s the most fulfilling, soul-nourishing thing I’ve ever done (and yes, I’ve worked with celebrities, the dogs are better). For your scrolling pleasure, I’ve included gratuitous puppy pics in my profile. You’re welcome! :) The Important Stuff: -I live in a quiet home in West LA with a fully fenced front and backyard. It’s a dog paradise. -Dogs have full access to the house, the furniture, the backyard. Basically, they run the place. The doggy door stays open as long as I’m home. -I only board one to two dog at a time (plus Ori), which means your little one gets undivided attention, snuggles, and VIP treatment. -I’m experienced with dogs of all ages, sizes (under 25 lbs, please!), temperaments, medical needs (including administering medication) and disabilities. -I’m not a boarding company. This isn’t a side hustle. It’s a passion project and a privilege. Feel free to reach out with any questions, concerns, or cute dog photos (I accept all three). I hope to aggressively cuddle your pup in the very near future! **YOUR DOGS MUST BE FULLY VACCINATED: DHPP, Rabies, Bordetella, and up to date on their monthly flea meds**

Jessica was amazing with my 4 month old puppy and her high energy! She was totally accommodating when I asked to do a meet and greet a few days before and sent me photos and videos throughout the day she watched Stevie. I was really happy that she had a backyard for the dogs to play in and that my pup was able to socialize with other dogs as well. I would highly recommend Jessica!

Jessica went above and beyond during our doggy day care stay. We met several days prior so my dog could feel comfortable with Jessica and her home. Throughout her day at daycare , Jessica put me at ease by sending updates and photos throughout the day. I easily felt my new rescue dog was in safe warm experienced hands via Jessica. Definitely returning :)

Moose had the best time! The yard offer so much space for him to play and relax. He is a reactive, young pup and her place was a sanctuary for him! She was very understanding with his needs and was completely fine having him stay in her yard all day as walks can be hard for him. She truly cares for the dogs she watches!
