I'm currently in school so I have a pretty flexible schedule. For house sitting, I would need to leave your home during the day to go to class and to check on things at my place, however, I take care not to stay gone more than a two hours at a time.

As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is that a sitter follows all directions to a T. This is especially important if any medications or supplements need to be administered. I vow to do the same for any of my clients. For dogs, my goal is potty breaks every 2-4 hours (more often if puppy), and prioritizing play time. For cats, I strive to create a serene environment, and once they warm up to me, I take time to give them plenty of play options. For dogs, I require a meet and greet before sitting for you.

I will need to get phone numbers of emergency vets that you use just in case, and will also need to know about any special needs your pet may have, as well as any behavioral quirks. I will not be able to sit for any dogs that have a history of aggression towards people.
A typical day
When caring for your dog, I will follow any feeding or special needs instructions, check water, and make sure to do a long walk in addition to at least a half hour of play time in the house or yard. I will clean any poo in the yard or during a walk. Cat care includes adhering to feeding and special needs instructions, checking water, cleaning litter boxes, and just sitting with them with a book or the TV in order to get them used to me. Once they are more comfortable, I will try to engage them in some play time.

For cats, I strive to create a serene environment, and once they warm up to me, I take time to give them plenty of play options. For dogs, I require a meet and greet before sitting for you. In addition to dogs and cats, I have experience caring for birds, fish, rodents (have personally owned guinea pigs, hamsters, and rats), and any type of farm animal --I am an equestrian. I'm also available for farm sitting.

Jessica was very good with our dogs - walking them a couple times a day. We have frenchies and they are pretty needy - she stayed at our house and was attentive to them. It’s nice when the dogs were happy upon my arrival home - makes leaving them easier. Jessica is very personable - we will use her again!
This was my first time using Rover. In the past I have depended on family to come look after my cat, but Jessica was able to step in and pet sit for two nights. Jessica is reliable, attentive, and respectful. I would not hesitate to have her pet sit again, and look forward to my kitty having a new friend.
