I provide calm, home-based dog boarding and daycare where your pup is treated like family, not just “watched.” I am generally home all day and host one dog or one family at a time, so your pet receives personalized attention, a peaceful environment, and plenty of love, play, and one-on-one care throughout their stay. No crowded boarding situations. No overwhelming chaos. Just a safe, cozy home where dogs can settle in, relax, and feel comfortable. I have almost 30 years of hands-on experience, caring for dogs of all sizes, temperaments, energy levels, and unique needs. My experience includes: • Owning and training dogs since I was 18 (almost 30 years) • 15 years fostering and helping to rehabilitate abused and neglected dogs • Animal behavior and handling training through Best Friends Animal Society and Salt Lake County Animal Services • Volunteer experience as a dog specialist in high-stress shelter environments • Pet First Aid & CPR certification • Experience administering oral and injectable medications • Currently enrolled in the GoodPup Dog Training Course to continue expanding my knowledge and skills My goal is simple: for you to feel completely at ease while your dog feels safe, loved, and right at home.

This was our first time using Jessica, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we met her, we felt comfortable and knew our dogs were in good hands. She was incredibly communicative throughout our trip and never made me feel like I was being a worry wart. She understood that leaving your pets with someone new can be stressful and was always kind, responsive, and reassuring. Jessica took excellent care of our dogs, especially our French Bulldog, who requires extra attention in the Utah heat. She clearly took her responsibilities seriously, made sure they had plenty of potty and outdoor breaks, cleaned up after them, and paid close attention to their needs. She also took great care of our home, brought in our packages, and left everything just as we had hoped. We truly lucked out finding Jessica. We would absolutely book with her again without hesitation and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy Rover sitter.
Truly amazing! Our dog was so happy and relaxed staying with Jessica! I'm pretty sure he might try to move in! Our dog is quite the quirky old man, and not only was he able to be himself but he was so well cared for and just loved on the whole time we were away!
Incredible! Jessica sent us lots of cute photos of our dog out in the garden, taking naps, and eating her food. I truly feel like our dog had a nice relaxing time, which was a total relief because we’ve never left her with someone else before. Jessica deserves 10 stars.
We absolutely loved Jessica! She and her husband took amazing care of our baby girl, Leeloo. Our girl was in absolute heaven at their home. They were incredibly attentive. They took Leeloo on long walks, hiking, sunbathing, and even let Leeloo sleep with them at night. They loved on her as if she was theirs. We also received lots of pictures and updates of Leeloo having all the fun. I will be a repeat customer. Your fur baby will be greatly taken care of by Jessica. Highly recommend!
Jessica was great. Maggie and Claire could not have had better treatment. I’m surprised they came home with me. I was updated how they were doing and it was obvious they were getting the best of care and plenty of attention. A sleepy dog is always a good sign they had fun at daycare!
Jessica was wonderful! Jedi settled right into her home and she kept me updated with lots of pictures throughout his stay. My senior dog looked happy, relaxed, and completely at ease, which reassured me that he was in great hands. Jessica will definitely be my go-to the next time I need a safe and caring place for Jedi while I'm away.

Schedule
I am generally home all day. I adjust my day around your pup(s). Energetic and needs a lot of exercise? We'll go for walks, hikes, and play to their hearts content. More of a couch potato? Laid back couch snuggles are one of my favorite pass times! Fur babies are rarely left alone. If I do need to step out, it is typically only for a short period of time, usually no more than a an hour or two.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my priority. Dogs staying with me enjoy a calm, home-based environment with plenty of love, attention, and one-on-one care. There are no pets or children in the home, which helps create a quieter, lower-stress environment for dogs who prefer a little more peace and consistency. My family are all dog people, so pups are always surrounded by people who genuinely love and enjoy them. We have a fenced patio/run where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time, stretch their legs, and take easy potty breaks throughout the day. I also have a secure lead setup in the front yard where dogs who enjoy the outdoors can safely relax, sunbathe on the outdoor bed, sniff around, and enjoy some fresh air while supervised. We’re also surrounded by some of Daybreak’s best dog-friendly parks, walking trails, and green space, including areas near the lake, which means lots of safe, leashed walks, fresh air, sniffing, and enrichment. For everyone’s comfort and safety, I require a meet & greet for all new clients to make sure we are a great fit before booking.
A typical day
Every dog settles in a little differently, and I do my best to make their stay feel comfortable, familiar, and fun. For dogs who love activity, that might mean neighborhood walks, park adventures, outdoor time, and lots of opportunities to explore and sniff. For pups who prefer a slower pace, there is always cozy couch time, soft Minky blankets, sunbathing, and a calm place to relax. Most dogs are somewhere in between, and I naturally adjust the day based on your dog’s personality, routine, and energy level. Evenings are calm and cozy, with dinner, a final potty break, cuddle time, and settling in for a restful night’s sleep.
