The backyard has apple, plum, pear and cherry trees. We frequently go on walks around our neighborhood with views of the water. We live just a 3-5 minute drive from three veterinarian offices. There’s a baby gate outside on the porch.

Information Jessica V. would like to know about your pet
Play-wrestle, fetch, or likes to hang out on the couch? Confirming your dog is fully house trained or do they tend to have accidents at new homes? Where do they like to sleep? Is it ok if they sleep outside of our bedroom? Do they tend to tear apart / swallow stuffed animals? Thank you for the heads up!
A typical day
We have some favorite spots like Lowmans Beach, Lincoln Park, playgrounds to get the pups’ energy out. We have various doggy games and puzzles to hide treats inside. We can play fetch with chuck-it balls of different sizes.

Pet care experience
My husband and I have a 7 year-old Samoyed male dog with a fenced in backyard. Taro loves to play or run around the backyard with playful female dogs and gets along / is mellow with small male dogs! (He acts more alpha with only large male dogs) Just an heads up we aren’t able to host counter surfers. The dogs will be walked twice a day alongside our own. While our house is not particularly large, our backyard offers plenty of space (2000 square feet) for them to explore and play. We love playing fetch if they enjoy that, provide treats in dog puzzles, ensure they stay well-hydrated and offer plenty of affection. My husband, who works from home 5 days a week, shares my love for dogs and helps equally. He enjoys taking them out during his lunch breaks. Our two young children are affectionate with dogs, and my son is especially happy when the dogs sleep near his bed. We ask that dogs be fully house-trained and comfortable around children. 😊 We have experience caring for dogs recovering from hip injuries and administering multiple medications. We have welcomed dogs ranging in age from 4 months to 15 years old. Our dog, Taro, weighs 65 pounds and has a lot of fluff. He loves to play-wrestle but can also be calm if the other dog is not interested. Taro gets very excited to interact with other dogs, may bark a lot in the first 15 minutes, matching their energy levels, and can be quite the couch potato as well.
Reviews

Hachiko is always wonderfully cared for by Jessica and her family. It is great for him to be able to hang out with her beautiful dog, Taro.

Jessica is the most fantastic sitter, and we feel so safe and secure knowing our pup is in such good care while we are away. We love the constant updates we get and all of the video and photo updates make us so happy.

Jessica, her family, and home were fantastic! We left our 4yr old Millie for the first time due to a funeral and weren’t sure how she was going to respond. Jessica sent us daily updates and photos, and we knew Millie was in good hands. If we ever need a dog sitter in the future, we’ll be sure to ask Jessica first.

Jessica was great and our pup had a great time!
