My dogs love to walk in our neighborhood and on the cooler days on the Roanoke Greenway. We also go hiking on many of the local trails. Unfortunately neither of my current dogs play fetch but I can throw a ball or stick or even Frisbee with the best of them. I'm also REALLY good at belly rubs and behind the ear scratches

I stepped away from being a Civil Engineer to do more of the things I enjoy and I have found that taking care of animals is one of these things. Also taking early retirement has allowed me to have a very flexible schedule. Dogs have always been an integral part of my family, we currently have 2. I also worked as a vet tech/kennel/groomers assist for 3 years before returning to college. During this time I gained a lot of knowledge in many aspects of pet care and basic grooming. I love being outside and being active and would love to have a furry buddy to go out with me. My 2 dogs get exhausted from the longs walks/hiking and could use a break. I also have experience with farm animals (horses, goats, ducks, and chickens)!

Jessica is the best cat sitter I have found. My cat is happy, brushed, played with. Litter boxes and house is immaculate. Absolutely THE BEST.
The dogs enjoyed Jessica from the first meeting. She was there on time for drop ins and fulfilled our dogs needs as we asked. She even tested our collars upon letting the dogs out and reached out about the concern that one wasn’t working. Definitely satisfied parents and dogs. Will use again!
Our pets are our life- so I am extremely hesitant to have anyone but family watch them when I am out of town. After moving to Roanoke (where I don't have any family members) we didn't leave town for the first year because I didn't have anyone I truly trusted to take care of our babies.... until we met Jessica! Jessica gives us peace of mind farm-sitting, and our 4 dogs, horse, and chickens are always very well taken care of and excited to see her. Jessica is extremely patient with my frequent check-ins and requests, and sends me photos each visit. If you are looking for a trustworthy, caring person to take care of your beloved pets, Jessica is the right person!
