Deaf Dog Mom who loves all pups!
I’m a genuine animal lover and caretaker with 8+ years of experience caring for neighborhood dogs. I currently have a deaf white Boxer/Pitbull mix who is my best girl and has taught me so much about patience, communication, and unconditional love. We’re an active duo who loves long daily walks, playtime, cuddles, treats, and lots of affection. Training a deaf dog has given me hands-on experience with positive reinforcement, patience, body-language communication, and adapting training to each dog’s individual needs. I’ve also worked extensively with my dog on leash reactivity through play, socialization, and gradual exposure. We live in a very dog-friendly neighborhood in Wauwatosa, so we’ve learned how to confidently navigate busy walks, give other dogs space when needed, and build positive relationships with our neighborhood pups. I’ll treat your pet like they’re part of the family—with plenty of love, attention, patience, exercise, and, of course, treats! 🐾💕

Jess is truly one of the most caring and compassionate people I know, especially when it comes to animals. The way she loves and cares for her deaf girl, Nova, says so much about the kind of person she is. She is incredibly patient with her, attentive to her needs, and has always makes sure Nova feels safe, understood, and completely loved. I know that same level of care would carry over to anyone who trusts her with their animals. She understands that pets aren’t just animals, they’re family, and she would treat someone else’s fur babies with the same patience, kindness, and attention she gives her own. I would genuinely trust Jess with my dogs, and there aren’t many people I can say that about. Anyone leaving their pets in her care can feel confident knowing they’re with someone who will truly love and care for them while they’re away.
Jessica has helped me with my three girls for several years now. She’s dependable, caring and genuinely cares for my girls. I get consistent updates with pictures 💙 which makes me feel better when I’m away. All my girls have different personalities and needs and Jess goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is comfortable and loved. Schedule
I have a very consistent routine that makes it easy for me to give pets plenty of attention and exercise throughout the day. We start with an early morning walk, followed by a quick potty break around lunch. I work 9–5 and work within about 15 minutes of home, so I’m able to check in easily and have plenty of flexibility throughout my workday. I’m also the boss, which gives me the flexibility to work from home 1–2 days a week when needed. Evenings are usually another nice walk, playtime, and lots of cuddles. On weekends, we love getting a pup cup, visiting the dog park, or taking a long walk on one of the nearby trails. I’m happy to include your pup in our routine or tailor their care to whatever schedule and activity level works best for them! 🐾💕

I like to follow each pet parent’s routine and preferences as closely as possible. Every dog is different, and I’m happy to follow your rules when it comes to crating, furniture, sleeping arrangements, feeding, and daily routines. I’m comfortable crate training, keeping dogs separated when needed, or allowing them on the furniture and in bed for extra cuddles—whatever makes them feel comfortable and at home. My dog, Nova, is a deaf Boxer/Pitbull mix and is fully free-roaming in our home rather than crate trained. She loves other dogs and has learned to adapt to different personalities and read other dogs’ cues through regular socialization and occasional daycare. Safety and supervision are very important to me. I have Furbo cameras throughout my home and keep a close eye on alerts throughout the day, especially when I’m away. I’m also comfortable giving dogs their own space or separating them when needed to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. Whether your pet is staying in my home or I’m caring for them in yours, my goal is to make their routine feel as familiar, comfortable, and stress-free as possible.
