Hi there! I’m a PhD student in Neuropsychology with years of hands-on experience caring for animals of all kinds—dogs, cats, reptiles, and even tarantulas! I was raised around foster dogs and learned early on to treat every animal with patience, kindness, and respect. I only use positive reinforcement and believe all pets deserve love and understanding. I’m calm, reliable, and will treat your pets like family—keeping you updated every step of the way so you can travel with peace of mind.

Safety, trust & environment
I allow my dog to free roam the house and put her in the crate to sleep. But will do what is stated by you for your own pets safety and comfort. I do not have an issue with situations regarding aggressive or temperamental pets either, it is all about gaining their trust. I do not want to disturb the animal's routine so if they go out at 5am (like mine), then I will be taking them out at 5am. Putting stress on the animal while you are away is unnecessary and I want them to have a calm environment while you are away. I have had facetime or video calls with pet owners for the sake of their peace of mind as well for the health of the animal.

The care seemed to be fine. However the time schedule was not met. So if your pet needs a timely schedule this sitter may not be a good fit.
Jessica is amazing! She has excellent communication and asked questions prior to Maya's first walk about which routes she likes and any routines that she has. She arrived on time and was very sweet with Maya as soon as they met for the walk. She gave her lots of love and Maya got a great walk in. Our sweet girl came home with her tail wagging and is asleep now. I had surgery last week, so as I heal, this made life easier for us and for our dog, while it's still so important to us that she feels good and gets exercise. ❤️. We will definitely use Jessica again and highly recommend her for any service that she offers! Thanks so much, Jessica!

Schedule
I am open on availability. I update my schedule daily. I only have my studies to focus on right now. I have some zoom meetings that are various times of the week. I also do not travel for school, I am at a permanent address.
