Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because nurturing is a big part of who I am; both as a mom and as someone who’s grown up around animals. Being home during the day gives me the flexibility to provide consistent, attentive care for pets, whether that’s stopping by multiple times a day for potty breaks, feeding, or playtime, or caring for pets with more specific needs like medication or senior support. Because I’m not juggling a 9 to 5, I can give pets the time and attention they need without rushing. Whether it’s early morning check ins or evening tuck ins, I’m able to structure my day around each pet’s routine to keep them happy, healthy, and feeling “normal” in their home.

Safety, trust & environment

I make it a priority to create a calm, loving environment that mirrors their usual routine as closely as possible. In a client’s home, I focus on consistency; feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and any special instructions are followed exactly as you outline, so your pet feels secure and stress free while you’re away. My goal is to give pet parents peace of mind, knowing their furry family members are in experienced, loving hands.

Information Jessica S. would like to know about your pet

Every pet’s care is specific to them. Please share with me, as much as you can about your baby. Some points that may be helpful- Daily Routine • Usual feeding times, potty breaks, walks, nap times, etc. Feeding Instructions • Type of food, portion size, treats allowed, and any allergies. Medical Needs • Medications, supplements, and any health conditions to watch for. Favorite Activities • Toys, games, or activities they enjoy (fetch, cuddles, walks, etc.). Training & Commands • Basic commands they know (sit, stay, no), and any rules the owner enforces (no couch, no jumping). Bathroom Habits • Typical potty schedule and any quirks (like needing a specific spot outside). Crate or Bed Routine • Are they crate-trained? Where do they usually sleep? Escape Risks or Triggers • Door-dashing, fear of fireworks, separation anxiety, etc.

A typical day

Throughout the day, we have plenty of one on one time. For dogs, that might mean fetch, tug of war, or just lounging nearby while I’m at their house. For more mellow pups or senior pets, we enjoy lots of cuddles, brushing, and relaxing music/tv to create a calm environment. If a pet enjoys mental stimulation, I love using food puzzles or simple training games to keep their minds busy. In the afternoon, we’ll enjoy another round of outdoor time or play; whatever makes them happiest! And of course, I stick to each pet’s feeding schedule and any special care instructions provided. My goal is to make each pet feel loved, safe, and entertained in their own home, just like they would when their human family is home.

Pet care experience

With a lifelong foundation in animal care, I bring unmatched experience and a true passion for animals of all ages and species. My upbringing immersed me in hands on animal care, teaching me not only responsibility, but a deep respect and love for animals. Throughout my life, I’ve continued to grow in this field working alongside veterinarians, gaining experience in grooming facilities, and proudly participating as a junior handler with the American Kennel Club. I’ve been pet sitting for years and am comfortable caring for everything from high energy puppies to senior dogs with medical needs. Cats, Reptiles, Fish, little critters (hamsters, Guinea Pigs, etc) I’m experienced in administering medications, recognizing health concerns, and providing calm, consistent care tailored to each pet’s personality and routine. When you choose me, you’re getting more than a pet sitter you’re choosing someone who treats your pets like family, because that’s how I was raised!

Jessica is incredible! She was amazing with our girl, her kindness and the attention given was exactly what we needed for our 14 year old while we were away for a long trip. She eased our minds knowing it would be hard to let go a bit. She communicated and was transparent through the whole process. Our gal can't wait for us to go on another holiday to see her new bestie again!
