Pet care experience
If You’re Away, Your Pets Will Play
I’ve been the resident animal lover my whole life. I started as the caretaker for the family dog at 11 years old and have my own dogs as well. I’ve raised, trained, pet sat, and boarded dogs (and the occasional cat) for 20+ years. I have experience with toy to giant breed dogs as well as all energy levels. My home is a mixture between calm and energetic but I always make sure we make adjustments so that pets can feel the most comfortable while they are here.
Qualifications
Ratings and reviews
Jessica is one of the most sincere and caring person I’ve met. When given any type of task or responsibility she puts her all into with intentionality. She’s someone I’ve trusted with my dog from the time she was a puppy - being the very first person that came to my mind when I got my puppy and needed help when I started my new job. Jessica is someone anyone can put their trust into and know she’s putting her heart back into it.
Jess is an amazing pet parent and caregiver! I’ve known her for over a decade and have always been impressed by her patience, knowledge, and ability to work with animals. I personally grew up in the pet industry, so I know how important it is to have someone you can truly trust with your pets. Jess has helped with my dogs in the past, and I’ve never had a single complaint. She is reliable, attentive, honest, and genuinely loves animals. I wouldn’t hesitate to trust her with my dogs, fish, or any of my other pets. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will treat their animals like their own.

I am home all day during the week and most weekends. I will step out for up to 2 hours at a time for school pick ups/drop offs and errand runs.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I have a 5ft fenced yard with locking gates. There are currently 2 dogs living in the home — a 1 year old lab mix and a 10 year old golden retriever. I have a separate dog area from my kids so that they have a place to escape from grabby hands and loud noises.
Pets
A typical day
A typical dog day with me starts with outdoor time first thing in the morning. We play fetch, tug and give unlimited belly scratches. At breakfast time, everyone is separated while they eat even if they have good manners. They can roam inside or be crated if it makes them feel safe. My household gets busy around dinner time. Usually dogs go outside to play again, come eat their own dinner and then settle down while my family eats and kids get ready for bed. We get quiet time around the house when kids go to bed and I’ll usually walk dogs once the sun goes down so we don’t overheat.
