Availability

My days are designed around caring for my dogs! I start each morning with playtime or walks with my two Goldens, Irie and Bear, and love including my guest pups in the fun. I full-time but have a flexible schedule, so I’m home for regular potty breaks, play sessions, and attention throughout the day. Evenings are perfect for walks, winding down with cozy snuggles, and letting the pups play outback.

🐾 Golden Days with Jessica Rae 🐾

Pet care experience

Where every day is a Golden Day. 🌿Hiking trails and dog parks are my favorite time with my furry friends!🌿 I’ve been caring for dogs for over 22 years, starting with family and friends and now extending to clients who become family. I’ve owned and loved many breeds — from energetic Golden Retrievers and Border Collies to smaller companions like Dachshunds. My home is warm, safe, and very dog-friendly. I started my partnership with Rover back in 2015 when I said goodbye to my 16-year-old Border Collie mix, my dog soulmate. Now I share my home with two gentle Golden Retrievers, Irie and Bear, who love to make new friends. I’m experienced with puppies, senior dogs, and those with special medical needs. I’ve administered oral medications, insulin injections, and eye or ear drops. You can feel confident that your dog will be treated with patience, experience, and genuine love. Whether your dog enjoys daily walks, trail adventures, or swimming, I’ll tailor their stay to their personality and comfort level. My goal is to give you peace of mind while your furry family member enjoys a “Golden Day” of their own! 🐕‍🦺 Policies & Health Requirements To keep everyone healthy and happy: ✅ Flea & Tick Prevention All dogs must be current on prevention. Recommended options include: Sentinel Spectrum NexGard Simparica Trio Credelio Bravecto **Seresto collars** **(I kindly ask that dogs do not wear Seresto collars during their stay — especially if they enjoy cuddling — to limit pesticide exposure. If your pup isn’t a cuddler, no worries!)** 💊 Medications I’m experienced with giving medications (oral, topical, or injectable) and follow your vet’s exact instructions. Please bring medications in their original containers with clear dosing directions. I may require us to meet before our stay to review in your home how you conduct the medications/schedule. 🩺 Vaccination Requirements All dogs must be up to date on core veterinary vaccines before boarding or day visits. Please bring or upload a copy of your vet records. Required vaccines: Rabies (current per NYS law) Distemper/Parvovirus (DHPP or DAPP) Bordetella (kennel cough – within the past 6–12 months) Leptospirosis (required if your dog enjoys outdoor adventures or ponds) Canine Influenza (strongly recommended during boarding season or for park visitors) 🌳 Clifton Park Adventures If you’re a Clifton Park resident, please let me know if your dog is registered with the town. That allows me to bring them to Mary Jane Row Park or Kinns Road Park for safe, off-leash adventures with Irie and Bear! Both are beautiful spots for social play and happy tails.

My cavapoo stayed with Jessica for the first time this weekend. He had never stayed with a sitter before. He also has diabetes which makes it even more difficult. Jessica was absolutely wonderful with him! She went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable at her house! He was so well taken care of and loved while we were away! I would absolutely use her services again!

Jess was AMAZING with our dog! She helped her settle in and sent pictures and videos each day to let us know she was doing well. She always checked in to ask questions if she wasn't sure about something, like acceptable treats. Our anxious dog was right at home and had a blast playing while we were away.
