We boarded our dog with Jessica for 14 days! Jessica and her big family were great! We have a senior greyhound who needs medication/supplements due to arthritis and bad teeth, is a bit on the fragile side and can get easily injured, does not like to be left alone by himself EVER (we're working on it lol), and can be a bit grumpy about personal space boundaries sometimes. Despite this house having 2 adults, 6 kids, 1 dog, 2 cats, and 3 birds, Jessica and her family keep the house SPOTLESS and there is a great balance for senior dogs to have quiet time and social interaction time because the kids are gone at school for a lot of the day and then they come home and hang out with him! Jessica makes sure her kids know the dog's limits for personal space and she upholds that her kids follow them. Plus, her kids have had experience with older dogs in the past so they know what to expect anyway. The cats pretty much kept to themselves and left our greyhound alone and their shiba is very sweet and chill and pretty much kept to herself too I think because she was like OMG that dog is big!! Jessica is a stay at home mom and with a big family, someone is ALWAYS home which is perfect for a dog like ours with separation anxiety. Lastly, their house has quite a bit of hard flooring including at the top and the bottom of the stairs which can be very intimidating to our greyhound at times and she did a wonderful job guiding him and making him feel secure going up and down the stairs every time and made sure he never went by himself. Jessica and her family also did a spectacular job of pampering and giving attention to our noodle (maybe even more than we do at home haha!). Most of the day he hung out on their couch and in the evenings they even let him on their bed, and every morning before school, she said each kid pet him goodbye! Lastly, Jessica sent several updates and pictures every 1-2 days of him and she always let us know if she had a question or if she was unsure about something. I am happy to have found her and I am happy to be her first Rover client and review!!! We will definitely be using her any time we go on vacation from now on!
