I am currently looking for a new legal role and therefore have a flexible schedule so week days are great for me to pop by and check on your pup during the day! I typically ask for the best time frame available, rather than a strict time, just in case other work gets in the way. But I’ve never had to turn down a client or missed the time frame the pet parents provided.

Your animal’s safety is my number one concern and we’ll go over what to do for any situation. Your animal, so you set the rules! I’m happy to take them on a walk, make sure they have fresh water & food, and stay for a little engagement. I’ve had clients that just want cuddles, clients that needed extra clean up, and clients that want to make sure their pup gets extended exercise. Whatever you and the pup need, I’m happy to help.

What’s the best approach to get them to return to me? Reactive to other dogs? No worries! No friends on leashes is a policy of mine, we’ll keep a distance! I want to know all the quirks and behaviors of your animal so that I can best serve both pet and parent.
A typical day
Walking my dog is my favorite part of the day! We love exploring the neighborhood and smelling the fresh flowers. My dog also loves fetch and chasing tennis balls. If yours does too, I’m happy to play! If there’s a park near your apartment, we’ll get all the smells and squirrel sightings. Too hot? Let me know where the toys are and we’ll play a bit of catch instead. Scared of thunderstorms? That’s okay! We can cuddle and I’ll reassure them that everything is okay.

I grew up on a farm, so I’ve taken care of dogs, cats & all kinds of animals since I was a kid. We never had less than 3 dogs and 2 cats growing up, plus an array of rabbits, goats, pigs and horses, so I’m used to taking care of multiple animals at a time. Neighbors, friends & family have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe & cuddle their animals for years. For the past 3 years I’ve worked from home as ann attorney and walked/watched a regular cycle of pups. I have one pup of my own, a 6 year old golden retriever named Margot, and I can’t wait to adopt another pup soon. I’m in the market for a new job & will be walking/sitting full time until I find one, so I’m all yours! Margot is my heart and I automatically assume all pet owners feel the same about their pets, so you can trust that I’ll care for your animal the same way I would care for mine. Seeing pup clients is the best part of my day and I love long term or repeat clients because it gives me a chance to bond with the animal and learn their quirks and personality to serve them best!

Jessica was wonderful with my dog! I had another walker cancel last minute and she was able to save the day. She took the time to come meet me and my dog before the walk with less than a day’s notice and make sure we felt comfortable before booking. She did a great job and had amazing communication! I was so impressed with her responsiveness that we switch to her for our weekly walks!
Jessica is so wonderful and considerate! She helps when my dog is sick or behaving abnormally, and I trust her completely to care for my dog and be loving.
