Loving Care For Every Paw 🐾
I have lots of experience caring for animals of all kinds! I previously ran a small private animal rescue, mainly working with rabbits and reptiles, but I’ve also taken in and cared for cats and dogs. I’ve recently taken a break from rescuing until I’m able to purchase a larger home where I can eventually expand. Pet care is already a big part of my everyday life. I have a friendly 2-year-old dog of my own, and I genuinely love spending time with animals. I’d be happy to help give your pets the extra care, attention, exercise, and companionship they need while you’re away or busy. I have a fully fenced yard, although most of the outdoor space consists of a deck with a smaller grassy area. My dog is very friendly with both people and other animals. Dogs staying with me will have plenty of opportunities for supervised outdoor play, as well as time to relax and hang out inside. Inside the home, I keep playtime a little calmer to prevent anything from getting broken, but dogs are welcome to calmly play, explore, relax, and make themselves comfortable. Pets are allowed on the furniture in my home, so couch cuddles are definitely welcome! Our days can include walks, outdoor playtime, toys, practicing new tricks or working on ones they already know, and of course plenty of attention and cuddles. Depending on the dog, their needs, and their comfort level, we may also visit the dog park for some extra exercise. I understand that every animal has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I’m happy to follow the care instructions you provide to help your pet feel as comfortable and at home as possible. I’m excited to help care for your fur babies and look forward to meeting them! 🐾

Schedule
I’m currently working from home, which means I have plenty of time to dedicate to caring for your fur baby and making sure they get lots of attention throughout the day! Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine with my own dog. We go for multiple walks throughout the day, and any dogs in my care are welcome to join us. I’m home most of the time, so your pet won’t be spending long periods alone and can enjoy plenty of playtime, walks, cuddles, and downtime throughout the day. When I do need to leave the house, I love bringing the dogs along whenever it’s safe and appropriate to do so. My goal is to make your pet feel as comfortable, loved, and cared for as they would be in their own home. 🐾

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety, comfort, and trust are extremely important to me. I care for every animal I watch as if they were one of my own and always do my best to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. My home has a fully fenced yard, consisting mostly of a deck with a smaller grassy area, where dogs can safely get some fresh air and outdoor playtime. I also have a friendly 2-year-old dog of my own. She can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but she is very friendly once she gets comfortable and does well with other animals. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, boundaries, and needs. I’m happy to follow any instructions you provide regarding feeding, walks, medications, sleeping arrangements, routines, or anything else that helps your pet feel at home. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m equally respectful of both your pet and your space. I’ll follow their normal routine as closely as possible and make sure they receive plenty of attention, affection, playtime, and care. I’m an extremely caring person, especially when it comes to animals, and I want every pet in my care to feel safe and loved while their family is away. 🐾❤️

A typical day
A typical day with me will include lots of attention, activity, and fun! We’ll go for multiple walks throughout the day, giving your dog plenty of opportunities to explore the neighbourhood, get some fresh air, and enjoy all the interesting sights and smells along the way. At home, we’ll have lots of playtime with different games and toys based on what your dog enjoys. I also love introducing new activities and toys to keep things interesting and provide some extra mental stimulation. Your dog will also have the opportunity to play and socialize with my dog. She absolutely loves other dogs and gets very excited to make new friends, but she’s also good at recognizing when it’s time to slow down and relax. Of course, every dog is different! Whether your pup is full of energy and ready for an adventure or would rather enjoy a relaxed walk followed by some couch cuddles, I’ll adjust our day to their personality, energy level, and normal routine. 🐾❤️

- Please let me know ahead of time about any special needs, medical conditions, medications, routines, triggers, fears, or behaviours your pet may have so I can make sure I’m able to safely accommodate them and provide the best possible care. 😊 I do have experience caring for animals with special needs, including dogs, cats, and rabbits, and I’m always happy to discuss your pet’s individual needs with you. Since I have my own dog in the home, it’s also important for me to know how your dog typically interacts with other animals and people. For everyone’s safety, I’m unfortunately unable to accept dogs with a history of aggression or biting. My goal is to make sure it’s a safe, comfortable, and positive experience for your pet, my pets, and everyone involved! 🐾❤️
