Calm, Safe & Reliable Dog Care

Hi, I’m Jess I provide dog walking and drop-in visits in Witney and the surrounding Oxfordshire countryside. Dogs are a huge part of my life, and caring for them isn’t something I fit around other commitments — it’s what I do every day. Alongside running my dog walking business, I’m currently studying canine physiology, helping me better understand how dogs move, behave and stay healthy throughout their lives. I have my own young Vizsla, Hallie, so my days naturally revolve around exercise, enrichment, training and plenty of muddy walks. Being around dogs is genuinely what I love most. I believe every dog is an individual. Some thrive in a small social group, while others prefer one-to-one attention. I take the time to get to know each dog’s personality, routine and needs so they feel safe, comfortable and happy in my care. My approach focuses on: • Understanding canine body language and behaviour • Positive, reward-based handling • Appropriate exercise and mental enrichment • Consistent routines that help dogs feel secure I’m canine first aid trained, fully insured, and committed to continuing my education in dog health, behaviour and welfare. For walks, dogs are carefully matched by temperament and energy level, creating calm and enjoyable experiences. For drop-in visits, I follow your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible, whether that’s feeding, playtime, companionship or simply a toilet break and some fuss. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else’s care. That’s why I treat every dog as if they were my own, providing reliable care, regular updates and plenty of attention along the way. I’d love to meet you and your dog.

Safety, trust & environment

I structure my days around my walking clients so dogs get consistent time slots and calm, focused attention. Mornings are usually dedicated to countryside walks, with quieter drop-ins or solo walks spaced thoughtfully through the week.

Jess and her lovely family had our two dogs for nearly a month whilst we were away on a business trip. As hard as it was to leave them behind, we couldn’t have felt more relaxed knowing they were being looked after by Jess. She also updated us regularly with photos on how the dogs were settling in. She is the most loving and kind person, both dogs were completely at ease in her presence as soon as they met her (as were we!) Thank you so much Jess for having them! We couldn’t recommend you as a dog sitter enough 🤍

Jessica did a drop in for my dog recently. Her communication was fantastic, she was on time, and my dog loved her. She is friendly and efficient and a natural! And importantly - trustworthy. I would highly recommend Jessica, and would happily use her services again. Thank you!

It’s important for us to get to know each dog before they join us, so we can provide the best possible care. We like to know: • Routine: feeding times, walk preferences, sleep habits, and any household rules they follow. • Health: any medical conditions, allergies, or medications they’re currently taking. • Behaviour: how they interact with other dogs and people, and any triggers or fears we should be aware of. • Training: recall level, commands they know, and whether they’re allowed off lead. • Emergency contacts: your vet’s details and who to contact if you’re away. The more we know, the more we can make sure your dog feels relaxed, safe, and happy while in our care.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
