Pet care fits perfectly into my daily life this summer because I’ll have a very open and flexible schedule. My last day of teaching is June 12th, and I’ll be available throughout the summer for drop-ins, walks, boarding, and overnight care. Since I return to teaching in August, I’m excited to spend my summer doing something I genuinely enjoy — caring for animals and giving pets extra love and attention while their owners are away.

I believe pets are happiest when they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in a consistent environment. In both my home and a client’s home, I follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medications, and bedtime routines. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, supervision, and affection while also respecting their individual personalities and comfort levels. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they can feel confident their pets are happy and well cared for while they’re away.

A typical day
I love keeping dogs active, happy, and having fun while their owners are away! Depending on each dog’s personality and energy level, we can enjoy walks, outings to parks or the lake, games of fetch, and plenty of playtime and attention throughout the day. For dogs who prefer a calmer pace, I’m also happy to provide cuddle time, relaxing companionship, and a comfortable environment where they feel safe and loved.
