Pet care experience
At a young age I was responsible for the daily care of my childhood dogs (English Springer Spaniels) and my two cats. I love all animals and was always the kid at school taking care of the classroom pets. My first dog, as an adult, was a Boxer. I had him for 10 great years, and currently have 2 dogs (Labrador Mix and Pit Bull Terrier Mix). **My dogs do not accompany me while sitting**. I have been pet sitting for friends and family for many years now, and private clients now two years. I have a wide variety of experience. I have the most experience with medium to large breeds dogs with high prey drive and lots of energy to burn. But I also have pet sat for shy/timid smaller breeds. I have been volunteering at a dog shelter since 2021. While volunteering, I am responsible for the routine care and cleaning of up to 25 dogs at a time, many of whom were stray dogs, have medical needs, or have behavioral issues. I enjoy the company of dogs of any size, temperament, breed (bully breeds too!), and age. I have personal experience with owning a reactive dog, and caring for a senior dog with medication schedules/ special needs. I also have experience with watching a cattery (10-20 at a time) of Maine coons. I have experience caring for young kittens to adult pregnant cats. I also have experience with reptiles, fish tanks, chickens, goats, horses, and rabbits (100+ show rabbits). I have administered medicine to all animals listed above.

Jessica filled in at the last minute after another sitter had an emergency, and she did a wonderful job taking care of our pups and house (and lizard!) while we were out of town. She checked in and left the house neat, and it was obvious that the pets were loved and well taken care of. I would highly recommend her!
Jessica was a Godsend to help with my son’s Siberian Huskey for a week. She kept him engaged, exercised and loved. She accepted shipments sent during a move and other personal considerations that made this so much easier for our family. She even helped get an escapee pair of cockatiels back to their bird room using a food bowl as incentive. She is pleasant, experienced, someone who thinks on their feet, and a true animal lover. I highly recommend Jessica to take care of your pets.

Jessica was wonderful!! She kept us updated the whole time and we felt completely comfortable leaving our pups in her care. She always responded promptly and was very responsible.

Please let me know what your pets daily treat intake is, and if they have any allergies (food or environmental). I care about your animals well being. I will take the time to make sure I fully understand your pets personality/needs. My goal is make your pets feel safe when they are with me. I also will make sure to clean up after myself and leave your house cleaner than you left it. Let me know if you need me to water plants (inside or out), check mail, or take trash bins out.

I would like to know what your dogs favorite treats, toys, favorite form of exercise, or if they just like snoozing the day away. What/if your dog has any triggers or reactions. If they are in any diet restrictions or are allergic to anything. My goal is to make your dogs time with me as comfortable as possible so knowing your dogs regular routine is important to me.
A typical day
Your dog/s and I will have a lot of fun and cuddle time. We will go on walks in your neighborhood, play fetch in your yard, chase toys, and bird watch. Just let me know your typical day with your pet is like and I’ll try my best to mirror it. If your dog is more of a couch potato that is also fine by me.

Availability
I currently work full time Monday - Friday (8am-5pm) I also volunteer on Sundays (7am-11am). I’m open to weekday availability, as long as pet owner is aware of needing to leave for work and volunteering (above info).
