I currently work full-time Monday-Friday. I take my dog for a 20-30minute walk every morning and evening. I am away for 8 hours during the day, so house-trained or crate-trained is a must. I love providing enrichment activities during the day while I am gone.

I have a loving dog and cat to keep your animals company. We also live less than 5 minutes from a dog park and walking trails so I can ensure your animals get plenty of exercise. I can easily crate your dog, or give them their own space in the house if needed.

I like to know energy levels, just to plan accordingly. And how food motivated a dog is. I do have a toddler who loves to snack anytime and anywhere so it’s nice to know if your dog will try to steal the snacks out of her hands. And if they’re a counter food thief just so I can put everything away ahead of time.
A typical day
Typically we do morning potty breaks or at least 30 minute walks depending on the morning. Then provide enrichment activities while getting ready. Often times a licking mat or treat toys. Mid-day we will do a longer walk or a trip to the dog park for some socializing and fun. Then we do another evening walk and then one last potty before bed time.

I’ve had cats my entire life, even a diabetic cat that needed insulin injections twice daily. So I’m well versed in special needs for animals. I’ve also had a German shepherd now for 4 years who is highly energetic and requires lots of mental stimulation.

I just recently met Jessica while our daughters are in preschools together. I was in a tough spot and needed to leave town on short notice and was ranting to her about needing to find someone to watch my dog Maximus. He is a bit of tough case and doesn’t usually do well with other dogs. Jessica said she was willing to try with Benji saying that he is really good with other troubled dogs. She thought we could meet up at a dog park and introduce them. Oddly enough Maximus took right to Benji. Jessica agreed that she would give it a try because they seemed good together. And even said if things weren’t going well that she would keep them separated and exercise them separately until I got home. She sent updates to me throughout my last minute trip and things went super well. She honestly saved my behind and now I know that if I ever need someone to watch Maximus again I truly have someone to rely on.
Jessica is a close friend that has been a super reliable person for when I need someone to watch my dogs. I have 3 dogs, a pittie named Elias, a big mastiff named Ozzy, and a little yorkie named Sassy. My animals can be a lot to handle but Jessica has always done an amazing job. Sometimes it’s pretty last minute but she has always made the time for a friend in need. Whenever I tell my dogs that we’re going to Auntie Jess’ house they get truly super excited. They love her and her big boy Benji.
