Hi! My name is Jessica, I’m 20 years old and a third-year student at Towson University. I’ve been pet-sitting regularly since I was 14 and have experience caring for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, puppies, birds, tortoises, horses, and other farm animals. Over the years, I’ve provided pet and house-sitting services both locally and while traveling, including overnight stays in Maryland and other states. I’ve also fostered puppies, which gave me plenty of hands-on experience with younger dogs and the extra attention, patience, and cleanup that comes with them! My experience includes dog walking, drop-in visits, cat sitting, feeding, administering medication, cleaning up accidents, overnight care, and making sure pets get plenty of attention and companionship while their owners are away. I’m comfortable adapting to different routines, personalities, sizes, and care needs. I’m also an equestrian and have years of experience riding and caring for horses. I’ve volunteered at The Big Purple Barn in Bowie and Promise Landing Farm in Upper Marlboro, where my responsibilities included feeding, grooming, mucking stalls, turnout, and general barn care. Because of that experience, I’m also comfortable with farm-sitting and caring for animals beyond traditional household pets. I genuinely love working with animals and understand how important it is to have someone reliable and attentive caring for them while you’re away. I’m currently based in the Towson/Baltimore area, and also spend some time in DC/Central MD on my weekends. :) I have a super flexible schedule, with classes only on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
