Wiener dog owner with a PhD
I grew up learning from my grandma on how to care for all types of dogs, of all ages. This includes how to train dogs as well. When I was 7 I got my first dog as a puppy and it was my responsibility to train her and she grew up to be an amazing companion! Me and my dachshund recently moved from Hawaii and are looking to make some doggy friends.

I am used to house and dog sitting, I am very respectful of your space. My own home is very clean and I try to leave yours better than I find it! As a pet owner I know how much routine matters especially when you, the owner, are away, so I try to maintain that while you are gone.

Hello! My name is Kim James and I'm writing this on behalf of Jessica Nicholson🙂 Jessica has been a family friend since 2009. When we met her she had a darling little dog named Lacy. It gave me great joy watching Jessica interact with Lacy. Lacy was an important part of her life. She took Lacy for walks, taught her how to do tricks. played with her in the yard and even made homemade dog treats for her! Lacy would get SO excited when Jessica would walk through the door! Jessica took many sweet pictures of Lacy. Lacy passed away from old age which was a very sad day, we all took part in Lacy's burial. Jessica still has keepsakes of Lacy's in which she treasures very much. The next pet Jessica gave a home to was Rupert! A Chameleon! Even though Rupert wasn't as active as Lacy, Jessica met all of his needs with the finest things available out there and would take him outside to bathe in the sunshine. She loved that little guy! He too lived out his full life expectancy with Jessica. The next pet Jessica brought home and was so excited about was a Holland Lop bunny named Maggie. Bunnies are not always the nicest of personalities but Maggie was a sweetie. I attribute that a lot to how Jessica interacted with her. She gave Maggie space but also let her know she was there for her. She gave Maggie a whole bedroom of her own! One that was empty so she set it all up for Maggie, she didn't want her to live in a cage. Because Jessica gave Maggie space (for example she didn't pick her up except when she needed to) she warmed up to Jessica and Jessica became her person. Maggie had the best food, greens, bedding for burrowing, treats and toys. Maggie had a happy life with Jessica. Jessica is very loving and conscientious with animals. She treats them like she would want to be treated. She loves them and they love her. I would completely trust my sweet dogs with her knowing that not only is she meeting their needs, she is also making them happy. Thank you for listening! Kim

Schedule
I am currently job searching, so when I’m not out networking I am usually at home hanging out with my dog! We try to get out to do things like hike, walks in new places, and thrift shopping for maximum sniffing possibilities
