Growing up in the Kootney's I've been around animals all my life, from small fluffy kitties to large spitting llama's. I bring that small town charm to your home. I've been taking care of animals from an early age; therefor I'm no stranger to the needs of both dogs & cats of all ages. If your pet has special needs, or just a puppy full of zoomies, I have been through it all. I have taken care of animals riddled with arthritis, behavioral issues, injuries and even being paralyzed. Due to my experience, I come with an abundance of patience and positivity. I'm here to make sure that your furbabies get quality enrichment. With puppies to seniors, I am happy to reinforce training, stimulate their minds and also make sure they get adequate exercise for their energy level. (scroll down if your looking for kitty care ) ***Housesitting & Daycare*** I currently offer housesitting and daycare in your home. Maybe you want to go skiing for a weekend, have a date night, or going on vacation I am happy to take care of your furbabies in the comfort of their home. ***Hikes & City Adventures*** Message me and I'm happy to discuss. This is dependent on availability. I do offer hikes ranging from 1- 4 hours. Your dog will come home happy and tired. Pack walks are available but I like to keep them small . I try to partner my dogs up with the right team so meet & greets are done first so I can get to know their personality and quirks. Then I will find the right fit so your dog will have best adventure possible. ***Reactive or Anxious Doggos*** I work with R+ Training ( Reactive Plus training) which is positive reinforcement for stressful, trigger like situations. It involves a lot of praise, treats, and patience. If you're dog has severe anxiety, doesn't like strangers or is a textbook reactive dog, I'm your girl. I understand the mental and physical struggles owners face with reactive dogs. All too often owners don't get the break they need to re-charge and take care of themselves there for I offer all my services and work with goal setting marks so we ensure we have those positive wins for you and your doggo. I'm here to help by reinforcing training, exposure and positivity. Please be aware that before a booking it is MANDATORY to disclose triggers & behaviors - such as clothing, bikes, movements, other dogs, noises, protective , shy, etc. It is also MANDATORY to disclose training techniques and equipment currently being used such as - muzzle, soft muzzle, "no dog" approach harness and leashes, commands etc. If you are working with a behaviorist or trainer I am 100% open to meeting them and working along side you to develop that support system. For the safety of myself and also the well-being of your dog - I do mandatory meet ups in a safe familiar place for your dog. Depending on the level of reactivity there can be multiple visits with you and your dog before I handle your pup on my own. Reactivity can be difficult, but with time and patience we can reach our end goal. Please note - this may come at an additional charge depending on the number of visits needed. ***Kitty Care*** I offer homestay, drop ins and medical needs for kitties. I have experience with sub-q fluids, insulin, thyroid, pain meds, nail clippings, and range of other needs (medical and non ) for my feline friends. I work remotely and for myself, therefore my schedule can be quite flexible to the needs of your fur-babies. Happy to provide a service that makes your life a little easier Whatever your pet needs I am up for it. Long walks, hikes or maybe they are getting older and just want a nice walk with long sniffing breaks. I'm happy to make sure that while you are away they feel loved, cared for, fed at the same time as always and have lots of fun and my undivided attention. ***Come January 1st 2025 Rates will increase to the following: Pack or Buddy Walks $37 - 1Hr Private Walks $55 1hr *** 30 min private walk/drop in $37. Please note that timing is never exact , when booking you will be required to give a min 3 hr window for your dog walk or potty break.
