I'm currently working a full-time (10-hour shifts) job, but have a lot of flexibility in my schedule to allow me to care for your pets. I work in a dog-friendly office, and depending on your dog's personality and behavior with other dogs, they can come to work with me. I don't work weekends and can dedicate that time to your pet.

I would like to know a little about your pet: How many pets will I be watching? What are their breeds and ages? What specific services/tasks would you want done? How do you deal with bad behavior and reward good behavior? Does your pet have any allergic reactions to food, insect bites, or anything else? Does your pet have any medical issues or require medication to be administered? Is there a protocol for an emergency situation? Can your pet be left alone? How long can they be alone? Is your dog well socialized and able to go to an office setting with me on work days? Does your pet have any triggers, fears, or weird reactions to things? (example: Does Fido get defensive when children play with water guns?) What quirks does your pet have? Bad walker, leash puller, cat chaser, excitable jumper? Are there behaviors I should be aware of? Escape artist, fence jumper, digger?
A typical day
Activities will depend on your individual pet needs. We can go for neighborhood walks, romp in the river, or just laze about and watch the birds fly by.

Pet care experience
I grew up in a household with multiple dogs, cats, birds, and rodents at any given time. I have experience with poultry and livestock as well. I enjoy spending time caring for any breed/age of animal. I am familiar with and comfortable giving medication to pets on schedule. I have experience giving oral meds to canines and felines. I have just recently lost 3 of my furbabies to natural causes of old age, and I currently have 2 Scottish Fold cats. I work a full-time job M-F, currently working 10-hour shifts. I am also available for weekends and overnight work. I would love the opportunity to play a role in caring for your pet.

Jessica has done an amazing job caring for our home and critters across multiple vacations. We have 4 cats and 1 elderly dog, and all of them have various personality quirks and special needs. Not only did we come home to a house that looked better than when we left it, but our dog truly looked disappointed that we were home. He has a new best friend! We will never use anyone for house or pet care again. We truly trust Jessica and her care of our home and pets, and trust her judgement should an emergency ever arise.
I've know Jessica for almost 15 years. She is an excellent pet caregiver (humans too!). She has always given her own pets high quality food and whatever medical care they need. She treats animals better than many people treat humans. I would trust her with my own pets (and children) under any circumstances. She is awesome.
Jessica is one of the most responsible pet owners I know. As a 4H leader I’m always empresses by the way she handles dogd and how patient she is even when bad behaviors are present. Jessica is always reliable and I would highly recommend her to take care of any animal! Joanie C
