I’ve been trusted for years to care for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. Whether your dog needs walks, feeding, medication, playtime, or just some companionship while you’re away, I make sure they feel safe, cared for, and loved. Rescue friends and adopters consistently rely on me for both short- and long-term care because they know their pets are in experienced, compassionate hands. I can also accommodate reptiles, rodents & small animals!

Schedule
I am a full time high school teacher who gets off of work around 3 each day. I have summer break off, and two week breaks during the spring, October, and December.

Cats in my care stay in a calm, secure, and home-like environment designed around their comfort and safety. I keep my space quiet, clean, and cat-friendly—with cozy resting spots, plenty of enrichment, and no exposure to unsafe areas or other animals. Having fostered and cared for cats through rescue work, including those with medical or behavioral needs, I’m attentive to each cat’s individual personality and stress levels. I treat every guest as if they were my own—loved, respected, and given the stability they need to feel completely at ease.

A typical day
I make sure every pet gets fun, personalized attention based on their personality and energy level. For cats staying in my home, I spend time playing with interactive toys like wand teasers, laser pointers, and puzzle games to keep them mentally and physically stimulated. I also give plenty of one-on-one attention, whether that’s brushing, lap time, or just sitting with them so they feel safe and comfortable. For more curious or active cats, I create opportunities for exploration and enrichment within their private suite, while shy cats get gentle, low-pressure interaction at their own pace. For dogs during drop-in visits, I focus on walks, playtime, and companionship. Walks are tailored to your dog’s needs—whether that’s a quick potty break or a longer, energy-burning stroll. I also include play sessions with their favorite toys, and I make sure they get lots of attention and affection so they don’t feel lonely while you’re away. No matter the pet, my goal is to keep them happy, engaged, and feeling loved while you’re gone.

- For cats, I like to know about their personality, favorite toys, feeding schedule, litter habits, and any medical needs. If they’re shy, playful, or have specific quirks, I’ll adjust their environment and interaction style to match. For dogs, I ask about their walking routine, energy level, behavior around other dogs/people, feeding schedule, and any medications or special instructions. This helps me make each drop-in visit smooth, safe, and enjoyable.
