It is important to know a dog’s level of comfort in new situations. Does your dog enjoy other dogs, kids, and people? Or are they more hesitant and cautious? Routines and schedules that a dog is used to is also important to ensure they are as comfortable as possible. I would also want to know any medications they take, allergies, anything that might cause them to be afraid or overwhelmed, and what activities they enjoy to make sure their time is as happy as possible.
A typical day
It is important to keep dogs active and stimulated. Activities in the backyard, walks, and play time with a variety of toys are all important to keep dogs, active, healthy, and happy. I also keep regular schedules so dogs can get into routines with activity, rest, and meal times. Lots of love and snuggles too!!

I have owned dogs my whole life. They make life full and bring so much joy. I have raised dogs from puppies, brought home rescues, provided training and so much love throughout each of their lives. I provide opportunities for play and stimulation for young, energetic dogs, or calm and quiet environments for aging dogs. Each has their own special needs and I want to give each pet I care for the love and attention they need.

Jessica is amazing! She sat my dog Beau, the master of mischief and thievery all 80 pounds of him and they had a blast. Walks, and snuggles. He looked for her at least two days after. Worth every penny to know he was safe, loved and cuddled.
