I work full time from home so am quite flexible with availability for drop-ins, walks, day care and boarding. Dogs at my home have me with them full time and "in-and-out-and-in-and-out" is a very popular game, as are multiple walks throughout the day. I will keep the schedule that works for your dog - I'm up to go for 10k walks with energetic dogs; I'm also experienced with gentle exercise watching for signs of fatigue in senior dogs. The most important thing to me is that your pet faces the least stress and disruption from your absence as possible and my schedule allows me the leeway to meet the needs and routines of your pet.

I rarely take dogs from more than one household at the same time; if there are possibilities that I think could be a good match, I will discuss it with you beforehand to ensure you think so, too. Every pet needs to be safe, of course, and also comfortable and as stress-free as possible. Dogs at my home are part of the family.

I will meet you and your pet(s) where you're at--I'm experienced with animals who have been through trauma and/or have special needs and happy to accommodate their needs and be part of helping them. I really value having as much information about your pet as you can share and an open dialogue so I can meet their needs as best as possible.
A typical day
I'm up for just about anything your pet is! Long walks, runs, swims, off-leash parks, playdates, an hour of "bird on end of fishing rod" for cats to chase ... the sky is the limit! I want your pet to have the best time possible and will do everything I can to make that the case. My dog used to howl in happiness on the way to his daycare--I want your's to be as excited to see me.

I grew up on a hobby farm with dogs, cats, horses, goats, ducks, chickens, you name it, and was doing rounds with the local vet by the time I was 10. I'm new to Rover but I've been surrounded by animals my entire life, as a dog and cat owner, a horseperson, a trainer, a volunteer, and a housesitter and caretaker. At present, I'm the grateful co-parent of 16-year-old dog, and proudly owned by two rescue cats. I love and respect all animals and will treat yours with care, attention and love.
