Hi, I’m Jess! I’m a massive animal lover and have experience looking after both cats and dogs. I’ve previously been a foster carer for cats and have also looked after dogs for family and friends for many years. My family have had a Labrador, Evie, since she was a puppy, and I’ve been involved in her care and training from the beginning. Over the past 6 years, she has regularly stayed with me for weeks at a time, so I’m very used to having a dog around and looking after their day-to-day needs. I’ve also pet sat for family and friends with a range of different breeds, ages and personalities. I love being outdoors and going for walks, so I’m always happy to have a dog to keep me company. I’m responsible, reliable and will make sure your dog gets plenty of attention, exercise and care while they’re with me. I’m happy to work around your dog’s usual routine and get to know what they like and need, so they feel comfortable and settled while you’re away♥️

Schedule
I’m currently looking for a full-time role, so I have plenty of flexibility in my schedule at the moment. I’m available throughout the week, including weekdays and weekends, and can spend most of the day with pets in my care. This means I have lots of time for walks, playtime and company, and I’m happy to work around each pets usual routine and needs.

I have a secure, fenced garden where pets can have some outdoor time and a run around. I live in a smoke-free, pet-free home, so pets staying with me will have a calm and clean environment all to themselves.
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I’d tailor the day around their personality, energy levels and usual routine. For dogs, this could include walks, playtime in the garden, games and plenty of company and attention throughout the day. For cats, I’d spend time playing with them, giving them attention and enrichment, as well as making sure they have a calm space to relax. I enjoy being outdoors and keeping pets active, but I’m equally happy having a quiet day with a pet who prefers cuddles, naps and their own space. Most importantly, I’ll make sure they’re comfortable, entertained and well cared for while they’re with me.
