Hi, I’m Jess, and while I’ve never owned a dog myself, I’ve been the designated dog sitter and trainer for my family since I was 10 years old. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of being the pet mom of a variety of pets, including cats, guinea pigs, rats, and birds. I’ve always loved animals, especially dogs, and getting to know each one’s unique personality is something I genuinely enjoy. Growing up, I was an avid Animal Planet watcher and routinely dog sat for family members for weeks at a time, so I’ve developed a solid understanding of dog behavior. I’m currently taking a gap semester to save up for college, and I’m excited to spend this time doing something I’m passionate about—helping families take care of their beloved pets!

Safety, trust & environment
When taking dogs on walks, safety is always my top priority. I’m always aware of our surroundings, keeping an eye out for traffic, other dogs, and potential hazards like broken glass or unfamiliar animals. I pay close attention to the dog’s body language to make sure they’re comfortable and not anxious or stressed. I follow any specific guidelines from the owner, like avoiding certain areas or interacting with other pets. Above all, I make sure every walk is an enjoyable and safe experience for the dog.

Jess did a fantastic job with our sensitive, elderly cat. We felt confident leaving our cat in her care and will definitely use her again!
