I must leave an honest review for Jessica. The amount that I was charged and the reviews on her profile I had expected better service. I came home to a house that was not as clean as I left it, among other things. This was explicit in my letter left for her. Before people discount my review, please know I previously worked as a hotel cleaner and did house sitting. My counters were slimy with grease and dirty water, my floor had food particles and spill splotches on the floor. There was also a large amount of water under a mat in my kitchen. She had her boyfriend stay over and did not ask us. Her boyfriend got his vehicle stuck in my yard and chewed up snow and dirt leaving ruts, instead of using the main driveway that was plowed. She did not use the drops provided by my sister (who is a vet assistant and left instructions) for my cat's eye issue. She did not park in the space that I provided and did not shovel the short walk to the door. She left a mess in my fridge of spills and dried food. She ate popcorn in my sitting room and did not clean up the bits in my couch. She did do somethings extra like washing the sheets and linens (even though a blanket got ruined) when I only asked her to strip the bed and leave the sheets in the wash, followed the instructions provided by my sister for my dog with medications and feedings. I think Jessica is not cut out for house sitting and will not be using her services again. Also do note if going to Cuba this app does not work.

This was my first time hiring someone to look after my dogs at my own home and was somewhat nervous about it, however I will certainly hire Jessica again in the future if she's available. She was punctual, communicative and even sent me pictures and updates unprompted which I really appreciated. My dogs looked happy and relaxed! My house was just as I left it. Thanks again Jessica, fantastic service.

We booked Jessica last minute when we were in a pinch to get a sitter for our 16w/o puppy while we had a wedding and he was sick so couldn’t be around other dogs. After reading all the other reviews and chatting on the Rover, we felt comfortable booking. Long story short, she wasn’t the person taking care of our boy, and we were left feeling very out of control and scared. She maintained contact through the app but she wasn’t there at drop off or pick up, and all photos sent seem to be from her family taking them. Her family was great with him and took great care of him (hence the 2 stars instead of 1), but we left the whole experience very upset and feeling as though we were lied to and deceived. If she was upfront about it all, it would’ve been a different review we would’ve left.

Jessica was amazing! I have never used this service before so she came over a few times beforehand to get to know my dogs! We went on a 9 day vacation and Jessica stayed at our house with our 2 dogs. One of our dogs is older and doesn’t get around very well so she needs lots of patience and extra attention. Jessica sent me updates and pictures daily. They were very well cared for! She even watered my plants!! We will definitely be using Jessica again! ❤️
