I’ve moved from Washington to California, and though I work a rather full schedule I am free most weekends. I can be flexible but providing the best quality care for a pet is important.

Creating a calm but caring environment is the goal as well as providing stimulation and healthy exercise. I have experience with crate training dogs so that will be a service I can follow through with if your dog has a routine with their kennel. Their normal routine, training, and habits are something I will take care to keep to ensure a calm and familiar experience.

It's important to me that I create trust and comfort when taking care of your pet. I know I was shy in explaining my requests and hopes when boarding my pup but these pieces of information are vital to excellent care. If your dog is in training or you wish to strengthen their recall or at least hope they don't forget what they've learned, let me know the commands, release words, or rewards you wish to incorporate during their service. If they require special attention (ex: reinforced naps), avoidance of certain situations (ex: no dog parks or meeting other dogs), or a concrete schedule (ex: walk times, feeding times, etc.) I am more that willing to follow the instructions to a T!
A typical day
I enjoy providing puzzles for dogs as well as taking them for sniff walks. If your pet likes a certain trail or game I would love to accommodate that!

I've had dogs ever since I was little and I've loved all of their personalities. I've cared for dogs, cats, rats, fish, birds and snakes. My boyfriend and I are the parents of a little short haired devil of rat terrier. He's definitely kept us on our toes training wise and he is more amusing than he realizes. I am a gentle owner who values the happiness of the pet as well as retaining their learned routines and commands. Potty breaks, walk breaks, and play breaks are important as well as practice in relaxing. Learning their character, joys, and needs are vital to me and I will do everything I can to make your loved one feel cared for and catered to.

We loved having Jessica as our pet sitter!! She treated our pets as if they were her own!! Cali and Luna liked her immediately upon meeting her, and I could tell from all the great pictures and videos she sent that they felt at ease with her here. Jessica was very responsive, and followed my (very detailed) directions perfectly!! I am a very nervous dog mom, and knowing Jessica was here put my mind right at ease!! She left our place in tip top shape. I highly recommend Jessica as a pet sitter, and we will definitely be using her again in the future!!
This was my first time using Rover and I have nothing but good things to say about Jessica. She’s very genuine and kind. She cared for my senior dog while we were on a trip for 5 days and she went above and beyond! I am very satisfied with his care!
Jessica was absolutely amazing! Samara had so much fun with her and even whined at the door when she left. I got updates and adorable pictures the whole time we were gone. Jessica played with her and did busy activities everyday and of course walks and even a trip to the dog park!I knew our pup was in great hands and I didn't worry at all! I Absolutely recommend her and look forward to having her sit again!
Jessica has been my caregiver for our three cats and crested gecko for the last 5 years before she moved to California. She has gone above and beyond and cleaned their cat boxes and cage even when she didn’t need to, like if we were gone a day or two. She is receptive to instructions for pets and has always done a great job bonding her own relationship with them. She can be fully trusted to watch over your pets- she cares as if they were her own.
