Fitting your pet into our routine is easily done! We crate feed 2x's per day. 7 AM and 4 PM. We find controlled eating helps prevent food theft that can lead to sour stomachs and promotes no poop accidents in the home from getting sick from eating another dog's food. Morning play and rest time as we get ready for the day. I work from home so they will be with me all day. When we are away all pets are crated for safety. If your pet is not crate trained we have made exceptions for small/medium dogs we can crate in the kitchen. Supper at 4 PM and outside play and individual one on one time as supper is made by either me or my husband. This is when we will go over commands and treats for rewards. At supper we ask all pets to lay down near table and if they are not willing to keep noses down get crated or leashed near us. After supper we go for a walk (weather permitting). Then rest and playtime before bed at 10 PM. All dogs are crated for night rest. If your dog is not crate comfortable, we are not the best fit for your buddy.

Your pet will be treated as a guest first. We will either leash or crate our pet to help your pet feel comfortable to start introductions to rest of pack. A new dog home can be overwhelming for your dog and we allow for that adjustment time. Your dog will have full access to the house with only gating off stairs to ensure supervision. Also preventing pets from going downstairs unsupervised and protect any door darting for a loose pet.

Information Jessica M. would like to know about your pet
Tell me what your dogs routine and feeding times. I have no breed preferences but am cautious of agressive/unsocialized dogs. Does your dog do any tricks? Are you working on any at home? What are your worries/fears? I want to listen to help you feel comfortable and to offer your pet the best experience. Crate trained is preferred for all dogs, but make exceptions for small dogs we can gate in kitchen. For drop off all is needed is a collar with name tag, leash, and food. We have everything else crates, food bowls, toys, and an extended pass at play! Hoping to meet you and your buddy soon.

When your dog is with Jessica they will be considered part of our family. If your dog is high energy we will have walks, back yard play (fetch, frisbee, bubbles, and a clean, safe back yard). We are close to the dog park and will have fun running and playing and closely supervised. High energy and playful will be a good match to our Doberman who always wants to play and have a good time and is very socialized and trained in intermediate commands as well as is in AKC FCAT events. We are so proud of him! If your dog is low key (chill) or senior they will be loved to pieces by my daughter who will snuggle, play, and adopt them ♡. Our Golden Retriever is also mellow but enjoys chase me with a toy in her mouth. She has a soft mouth and is very gentle. We call her our ice breaker for new guest dogs. Example of a schedule for a 6 month puppy we cared for: 5 AM outside/feed 5:30 to 6 outside/backyard play 6 to 7 AM free time 7AM outside for 15 to 20 min, then freetime 8 AM outside for 10 min then freetime 9 AM Walk (1 mile) then freetime 10 AM to 12:30 PM crate rest 12:30 to 1 ourside 20 min then freetime 1 to 2 PM play/pets snuggle 2 PM outside 10 minutes then freetime 3 to 4 PM play outside while I do yard work 4 to 5 crate feed and rest in crate 5 PM outside for 20 min then put on lead in house with an engagement toy while prep dinner 6 PM walk after dinner (2 miles) 7 PM rest/down stay/ cuddle (water up for the night) 8 PM outside 20 min then rest/down stay/cuddle 9 PM outside 10 min then bedtime Outside time supervised by being outside with pet. Crate time is for rest and safety only otherwise they are out and about! We also have a Minature Schnauzer puppy that has a high play drive. He plays with our Golden and Doberman so size is not a factor for his confident playful personality.

Reviews

We couldn’t have asked for better care for our two dogs — especially our senior pup who needs a little extra attention and support. She managed their medication routines flawlessly, took them on fun adventures, gave them tons of love and cuddles, and truly treated them like her own. We came home to two very happy, well-cared-for dogs. She absolutely knocked it out of the park, and we would book with her again in a heartbeat!

The very best care for our dog! Luna is treated like one of the family and we are confident she is receiving exactly what she needs when we are away.

Jessica and her family continue to provide the best care for my dog while I’m away from home, five stars every time!
Our dog loves Jess and family. Jess is caring and professional. We have peace of mind knowing our dog is in good hands when we are out of town. She sends daily updates and photos. Great communication. We highly recommend Jess…5 plus stars!!!
