Hi! My name is Jessa (Rover says legal names only! ha) Longtime pet parent currently living alone with recent experience working & volunteering in animal welfare. I would love to share my spare time snuggling, feeding, walking, and, when possible, boarding your beloved fur child. For boarding: if you have two smaller dogs, I can board them both. My apartment is on the smaller side so 2 big dogs would be too much. My top concern and 1st question will always be about your pups barking habits. It's very important to me to respect my neighbors so if your doggo is a medium to big time barker with outside noises, other dogs walking by, etc. then my home is probably not the best.

Jessa did a great job boarding my dog Archie for a long weekend. She provided updates while I was out of town for a long weekend, which made leaving him a lot easier. He came back happy and content, I could tell he had a great time with her. I wound trust her to watch my dog anytime!
Jessica was amazing and will be my go-to person every time I need to book care for Porkchop. She is experienced, patient, knows how to handle all dogs, and put me at ease right away with her demeanor. The biggest test was how Porkchop responded to her. Porkchop warmed up to Jessica instantly, pulling on his leash to go to her place right away. I trust Porkchop with Jessica and know that I am leaving Porkchop in good, reliable care when booking with Jessica. Thank you, J, for giving Porkchop love and attention and keeping him calm and happy while I was away.

Jessica was very communicative and kind! My dog Ollie was happy and comfy in the picture updates & I would definitely use her again.
Even though my frenchie Ziggy and I live farther away now in Virginia, I still keep going back to Jessica M (Jessa) because my dog absolutely loves her and she provides such wonderful care of him when I have to travel. She is absolutely the best!

Schedule
I work in the office 4 days a week, but can walk or feed pets in the evening. For boarding, there is a possibility that I could come home at lunch for a potty break, but I prefer pets that can make it the whole 8-9 hours. Please feel free to inquire if you have a special needs pet.

I have experience petsitting, fostering and working with cats & dogs. My senior kitty passed away last year, so I currently have a pet-free apartment. I am also happy to come to you (within a certain distance) and feed, walk, cuddle, etc. your pet on weekends or after work. I also have experience giving medications and walking reactive dogs.
A typical day
I absolutely love long walks and am happy to give pups plenty of time for scent enrichment. My space is limited, so not a ton of room for playtime, depending on the size of your dog. Happy to give them lots of cuddles! For cats, if they have toys they like to play with, I'm more than happy to do that.
